Morning All, good God you lot can prattle!!!!!! Well the move is over and I an NEVER moving again. When I die, just heap all my clothes out in the garden, build a fire and plonk me on top! My whole body is aching and I must have walked a million miles just putting things away. Some of the new furniture arrived yesterday and is all flat packed, so a handyman is coming around at 2.00 pm today to start assembling it. Then at 3 the antenna man arrives and at 4 the cable guy is coming to try and hook up broadband. Bloody Telstra, 5 hours on the phone to them and still we can't get online! I'm sick of talking to people, all I want is a technican to come and fix it. Hope everybody is fit and well. Hugs to you all. Lew Lew xxx |

Hi ya fellow wattlers, Have just caught up with all your ramblings - pmsl at the bi carb Rebs, and you are not going to make us all just wear scarves at Yarrawonga to keep you company are you? - I've changed my mind I'm not coming! lol. (Only 20 sleeps until we invade Yarrawonga). Yeh - Sue congratulations, you will have to change your name to super slimmer sue - whats your secret girl? C'mon - share - Pleeassee. Haven't seen much of Tony - maybe the tattie cakes gave him indigestion while he was scoffing them down. (Oh godness now why did I say that - now my mouth is watering) - change subject - have to think of something else. Have been putting down a floor and building a wall at the cottage on the weekend, and have decided those who do step aerobics can have it on their own. All day stepping from floor level to ground level (75cm) and back again I should have buns like Elle - well at least some sort of visible improvement to make me feel better. Must admit the muscle tone has improved in my legs - Ken reckons its 'cause I'm not sitting on my bum in front of the computer all day - lol. I'm laughing to myself as Ken thought buying a renovaters delight would cure me of DIY - but he forgot that I'm just improving all my skills - more practice makes perfect (smug smile). Mind you at 52 I didn't quite think of building as a part time career change! Thought I just might loose some weight - as an added bonus - but I'm afraid no such luck -as yet. I'm just going to have to put up with being cuddly. Keep everything crossed Jood when you go buy that ticket - what we could do with $21 mill. heh - maybe we could use some to bribe Uk officials into releasing the 1911 census! lol just think of the brick walls we could smash. Well catch you later have to do some w**k while I'm here. Have to pay for ancestry some how! jude 3 |

Hello fellow wafflers Ooooooh - Jood! Cross everything and go get those lucky numbers girl! A big prize this Saturday - lots for us to share around. Plans back on the drawing board for big tellies etc! Seriously, what would you all do if you won a lot of money? I would definitely do some traveling, back to UK first I think. I'd replace my 1996 corolla hatch for something sporty - I think red! And I'd give some to my son who is always broke. That would be a start. Welcome back Gwenda - glad the family gathering went well. My mother's family have a huge reunion planned for the Easter weekend - our family history book has been compiled and will be distributed at the reunion. We all sent in photos and family stories etc so I'm really looking forward to it. We have hired a hall in the country town where the family settled when they migrated from Germany in the 1860's, the catering is all planned - bbq's etc, the school has given permission for people to camp in the school grounds, there is a reunion dance in the hall on the Saturday evening and on Sunday, the local Family History Society/Museum is opening up their rooms for all of us to visit. Should be great. Devly - glad you got your puter sorted. We have a 'thingy' that backs everything up automatically at 10pm every night. Hubby is into all that sort of thing. And 10kgs - wow - what an inspiration you are! Congratulations - it is hard work but it makes you feel so good when you've done it! Hi Trifley - nice piccy of your son - and his car - on the photo pages. Thank goodness he got his wheels sorted in time - or should I say he's lucky he had an assertive mother who kicked some butt! We had about 8 mls here - missed out on any big rain. Hi Vonny - swallowed a lexicon have you??? You should do 7 word story - it's quite mad! Best get off here and do something else .....won't mention that four letter word that starts with w and ends with k!! Waves to everyone else - hopes Rebs has stopped fizzing! Luv Anna PS Did you see the 'pants' thread on General, asking everyone what sort of knickers they wear? Bridget Jones, thongs etc etc. Well one lady said she wore Harvest Festival Knickers - 'all is safely gathered in'!! Don'tcha luv it?? |

Morning folk!! Just crawled out of bed, but I think it was only the heat that woke me up. Trifely, what an amazing storm last night. Did it effect you much on the coast? Unfortunately it's left us with very sticky weather. Checked out my homepage for the weather, and they said more sun than clouds, but haven't given a temp rating for today or mention further storm activity. So bloody unpredictable they won't even commit. lol!! And these Qld'ers have the cheek to mock Melbournes weather patterns. Hey has anyone heard from Rudes? Been a bit quiet over the last few days. I'm not allowed to mention a certain football match, but I wouldn't think that was enough to keep him away. ??? Devly, aren't you wonderful. All that weight disappearing....... I can see a big shopping spree coming on. Just rewards for all your hard work. Deffo all fizzed out Jood. The rest of the stew was consigned to the toilet bowl in the boys bathroom. Might do some good and clean it on the way down. lol!! Off to recharge the coffee cup, catch you all later. love Rebs x |

Good Morning Wattlers Its raining again, typical as Dannielle is going to camp today. Anyway got some good news. Firstly the bloke is able to access our bad hard drive, he checked it out on our puta first, but our puta would not access the drive, he thought maybe it was a bit slow, so David went with him to his place and after working on it for a couple of hours, he can get into the drive and is able to transfer the files to his puta, as he has a big storage space, then we can transfer them to DVD discs, as you can get more on them than a CD, them bring them home and put on our puta. The hard drive, he found out had bad sectors which was causing it to play up, so it looks like we may have to get a new one, but I dont care, at least we can get the info off it. The other bit of good news is I got on the scales this morning and I am over the moon. I have lost 10kgs YIPPPEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! Catch you all after. Cheers Sue |

Evening all you waffling Wattlers It has finally cooled down here in beautiful Qld. Temp reached 34* here and the humidity was awful. The storm which passed through about 5:30pm did little to cool or wet things down. I haven't heard yet if other areas of the Coast got more rain than we did. The humidity went up again this evening so hubby has gone to bed with the air con for a while to cool the room a bit. I envy those of you living in the colder climbes. Rebs......hope your feeling better. Although the heat today wouldn't have made you feel any better. Don't worry....it'll be nice in Yarrawonga. Devily........fingers X X X that the puta geek works miracles with your puta. When they work they are wonderful......when they don't they're a bas***d. Hi Wilson......I hope you get some rain soon. My sister & her hubby grow sheep in Bredbo (near Cooma) and they haven't had rain for a while too. Rainy thoughts on their way to you. I've got a busy day tomorrow so I'll trot of now and try to get some sleep. Hugs and ~~~~~waves to all you wonderful cyber friends. love Trifley Queen of the Nile. |

Hi everyone, Been home since around 7 pm and have just finished reading 10 pages!!!!! - at least I knew where I left off as Anna had left the last message before I went away. Welcome back to Rebs - good to have you back. Glad you couldn't stay away. Hi to all the newbies who've dropped in while I've been on hols - hope to see you all again soon. Had a great family gathering on Sunday and have come home with a pile of paperwork and some CDs to go through so if I'm not around too much it's because I'm actually doing FH. We are hoping to have a book published in October and the deadline for info is the 1st August so it's going to be head down and b*m up getting it all sorted. I'll catch y'all tomorrow sometime. Off to check out my CDs before heading off to bed. Big h*******k day tomorrow - cleaning fairies couldn't find the washing machine so nearly a week's worth of dirty clothes waiting. Take care Gwenda |

Good evening all Have had a lovely sunny day on the bay, now its all sparkling with lights - its still busy at the docks and the giraffes are not getting a break, there have been ships going and others coming to replace them. I'm guessing the fish are biting too as there were heaps of small boats out at the mouth on and off all day. Shaz & Joodles, sorry I wont be able to make it on Thursday for lunch - have a Dr appointment at 10.30am - maybe next time. Rebs re the scarf : - girl you just do whatever it is that makes you happy, (Lara will you make sure you have the number for the little men in their clean white coats) Lara write down all thing things you want to know like saving on the memory stick and we will all help one another out when we are down there OK (Goes for all of us - bring our problems re puters and research and see if we can get somewhere) I picked up some FH mags while in UK I'll bring them and a few other bits and pieces that others might be interested in too. Yes thanks Mary, over the jetlag - just busy in and out all day with jobs to do - catching up - paying the price for being away a month! Good luck getting puter sorted devly, when I get into trouble I just call my boys and they give me directions over the phone! Rebs you weren't thinking girl, you should have told OH the bi-carb wasn't a mistake it was a pipe cleaning exercise ! This old guy today had one brown and one black shoe on - he didn't realise - the look on his face when he got up and realised was priceless, lifted one foot then the other didn't know what to do - I cracked . . . he eventually laughed with me, but poor old fella - bet he was quick to get into the car and get home! I laughed more at his reaction than anything else! Know what its like - been known to do it with earings on the odd occasion! Anyway time to get the dinner so best get off here - take care all cheers! luv Laurie |

Good Late afternoon peoples Tony it's alright the first one out of the stadium isn't always the winner its the one who is first at the end of the race mate. Reb I can sympathise with you as Cassie aged about 13 made a chocolate cake and instead of a teaspoon of bicarb she put a tablespoon it tasted like white king omg it was awful never forgotten it when ever we have a family gathering we say oh Cassie can you make a chocky cake and she laughs about it. Please don't mention that game again Sue do hope the bloke can fix your putor mylaptop had hizzy fit the other night and just turned it self off for some reason didn't tell me why, so I just left it off for an hr. and then put it back on and touch wood its been ok so far although I will need to defrag that may have been the problem as I did get rid of heaps of temporary files the other day and also did run adaware and got rid of heaps of critical objects as they call them so will just hope it fixed itself . Yes Mary where is Sandra and Donna too? missing you Leah your email is full too can't send you any, do hope you are ok . Did you all hear that the police have charged the 'boyfriend'of that girl who they said commited suicide 11yrs ago that was found at the bottom of the Gap great for her father I think everybody was sure he had murdered her but now apparently they have enough to put the sod of a thing where he belongs the angels will be celebrating tonight huh . going to continue some cleaning now before tea bye Luv Lara |

Afternoon all, No, not working today, or farming, .....still no rain....can all you guys who have rain send it this way.....This is my weekend, and have been out to lunch with a few peeps from work. Very nice, it is hard to get time off at the same time, then it was decided that my place was the one to go for coffee.......trying to think on the way here..... hope i left the house tidy he he. Rebs what is going on with the bi carb.... at least you shouldn't have needed an antacid after the meal lol. might make you f**t though pmsl. I am making a caserole for tea, and am going to look carefully at the box. Jude 2, if i got involved with FT at work i would be telling the customers to look after themselves, and not to disturb me he he. Yesterday i applied for a death cert, and am now not sure if i sent my money to the right place. I have been unable to find any trace of this rellie's death, she has to be, or she would be over 150, so fair guess that she is dead. Ok i am off the start cooling the glasses ready for OH.....and me... to have a cold one, when he gets home from work. He is doing casual work while waiting for the rain. Take care all. |

nah!! the mess wasn't that bad Jude, just made the stew taste a little bitter and left an after taste in your mouth. To make matters worse, OH went to bed around 8.30. then, 11.30 he thumped into the telly room, and plonked a box of cornflour on the coffee table. I obviously hadn't seen it on the lofty heights of the top pantry shelf, so he thought he'd drag himself out of bed to bring my attention to the fact. Grrrrrrr!!! |

Afternoon all Well it is now a lovely sunny day here, but it started of with rain all night and cloudy for the best part of the morning. Dannielle is going away on camp with the school tomorrow, so dear Mum had to pack bags for her today, not that I mind, at least I know she has enough of the essentials packed, and decent clothes, as she has a habit of just throwing anything in, suitable for lounging around at home but not to go out in. Fingers crossed for us this evening as David has a person coming around to look at the hard drive that has played up. Evidently he is a wizz with putas and is doing computer courses at tafe, so at least he knows more than we do, he has some programs that will get into hard drives and hopefully we can access the programs we want. Must go now and do a bit of h*******k, may get back on after. Cheers Sue |
