Afternoon all, Mary hope you get your rain , I put out a line full of washing, then we had a shower rushed to get it off, then the sun came out, now very heavy cloud and dark so hope we get some decent rain. Elizabeth welcome ( A bit late I know) you say you live in the Conway area of N.Wales,my aunte lived in NW. a village called Llandrynog near Denbigh? spent many holiday's there as a child,Grt Ormes Head, Rhyl ect. North Wales is a lovley place, we alway's traveled over The Horseshoe Pass. Anna. My mother was born in Pontypridd and my Grandparents were married in the area. While I am on the subject. Hi everyone. Nice day here today and I have been out making a hole in the plastic..That hot weather we had last Jan cooked my plants so I have been out renewing them and having a good time putting them in.. Its amazing how much better they they look than the weeds we had ...They say rain for he next few days but it always fizzles out by the time it gets here.. I am hopeing that we get some through so I dont have to get the watering can out..another bed tomorrow,,, it is starting to look a lot better.. Just hope they dont die on me... Lew Lew - I've just got home. I did actually just win a bid on a book called BORDER CITY HISTORY OF ALBURY by W.A. BAYLEY Revised & enlarged edition published in 1976 by Weston & Co, Kiama. 239 pages, illustrated, indexed, 22.5cm x 14 cm. This book traces in words and photos the development of Albury from a bark hut beside the river through it's golden years, until the 1970's. The book has a dust jacket which has a few wear marks on it but overall the book is in excellent condition. There are no tears or creases on the inside pages. and as I had rellies there, thought I'd buy it. I noticed the girl had other books for sale, that's why I mentioned the Griffith one. Jood

Afternoon Wattlers, hope you're all recovered from Anzac Day and in Tonys case probably a little bit of celebrating last night. Beautiful day in Melb.. hope its not a last ditch effort before Winter sets in.......I hate the cold. Had an email from ASL saying the page was not to be used for happy snaps of family (?) it was only a genealogy photo page - have deleted my photos from their page. Have added a photo of OH and oneself after Gooney Bird flight , and one of the MCG in all its glory the last night of competition of C'wlth games,so you can have peek if you want jude 3
