This is also a marker for me when I get back home and catch up with all your messages - haha Sue - congrats to your daughter also. Sorry the news from the mine wasn't good - bad timing coming with the 10 year Port Arthur anniversary too. To everyone not coming to Y'Wonga - you will be missed. Don't expect you to behave on here 'cos I don't think we'll be either. Have a great weekend, you won't be far from our thoughts anyway. Catch y'all on Monday Gwenda ~~~~~waving as she heads to get ready |

Hi All Have a great weekend all that are going to Lara's. Laurie, yes red heads are a class of their own, you have to love them. David and myself can visualise Dannielle when she has grown up and got married or has a boyfriend, we can see when she gets in one of her moods it will be a stance with one hand on the hips and the other waving at him with pointed finger saying 'I told you to .......' lol. All jokes aside I wouldnt change anything about her. David often torments her and tells her he can see her devil horns poking out of her head pmsl. I have put a pic on ASL site in my Convict Bricks album. Shazz, yes you are right, with the bad news about the miners, one body found and still looking for the other two miners, and tomorrow (28 April) is the 10 year anniversary of Port Arthur shootings. There has been many stories in the paper over the last week some from people who was there with some going to the memorial, while others still cant face going there. Cheers Sue |

Guys, .......... at least, those of us left at home to look after the Wattle site! Could some kind person with Ancestry look up for me in the 1841 Census, a William & Elizabeth Heaven in the Gloucester area please (probably a town called Uley, but maybe not) - their son James 16 at the time, was working elsewhere as an apprentice wheelwright. and I dont know what other children there were in the family. Since James was born in 1824 in Uley, Glos, I guess his parents could have been born around the 1800-1802 mark, making them approx 41 yo? Merky buckets (as my daughter says) Jood |

Hi everyone :-) I was reading this thread catching up with you all when my daughter, Jess, arrives back about 8:35 (she's supposed to be at school by 8:30). Turns out the school bus hadn't turned up. Phoned school to let them know she would be late and it turns out that the bus had been withdrawn due to some idiot writing graffiti on it. So had to phone taxi to get her there, just hope they sort something out as it's an awkward place to get to, you need 2 buses if travelling by public transport. Ah well another sunny day today............have got the morning off but I'm in college this afternoon for psychology (there was a mix up on the timetable so it's changed am now doing psychology Thurs pm instead of Mon am). Jude2 Happy Birthday to your husband :-).........btw thanks for the offer of a praline flake but I think I'll just get one from the shop lol ;-)) Tony hope your daughter and the little one are ok..........btw I defo recommend eaf muffs............especially after reading this thread pmsl Devily well done to Dannielle, I'm sure she'll be brilliant Trifley the reason the site wouldn't accept congratulations the first time was because you put dots before it and it won't allow dot co/com or anything resembling them. Hmm notice Rebs is quiet..............what mischief are you planning Rebs lol :-ppppp *waves to all* Juliexx |

Good afternoon Waffling Wattlers . . . . Took some reading to catch up with you today . . . with all the sadness in the world it is great to see so many folks from different places and getting along so well, I think we hit the jackpot here !!! Can always leave the site with a smile, thank you !! Oh dear Tony, what a drama and a little one in the middle - I wouldn't be throwing the phone at him I like the motto 'Dont get mad get even' with the added advice 'dont leave any evidence' Awh Devly - Whenever I see a mum with a red haired child I give her heaps of sympathy - cause I know she deserve it being one myself. Mine, when he boils he boils - then thats it ... but couldn't get a more loving and affectionate lad - a real softy in the middle. Congrats to the new school leader - bet she does a mighty job! I concur Tony . . . hi John you big chicken . . . dont just read - talk !!! And . . . funny you should mention Dame Edna - there was a guy walking along the path on the beach side earlier this morning . . . pink tutu, black bra, gold stilletos (with one heel missing) and a red handbag !!! No, not a fishnet in sight, and legs that dont go out in shorts much, Silly bugger - he could have got away with it if he hadn't tried to mix gold shoes and a red bag !!!!! Obviously lost a bet - as there were two car loads of guys driving beside him very slowly yelling and carrying on - got the smile on the dial in shape anyway! Yes Mary I am on a bit of a roll - plenty of new rellies coming into the picture too - but not many have had any new info for me - I'm dishing it out left right and centre though! Lovely to get contact with them though, and seem really lovely folks - have to be - they are related to my parents!! Ah I loved Ottawa - was there last May, the drive back to Toronto on the back roads - Owen Sound - yep, on the list of places to go back to! Hi Liz, a few of us had problems yesterday so it wasn't you . . . seems sorted now though - will make it my personal goal to make sure Lara has a good weekend!! Your a dag Trifley, a great tonic to the dial also Well I best get orfa ere and go think about a meal for the Lovely Ray - poor love will be working late so he can get away tomorrow, with him off for a couple of weeks to Jakarta and Vegas on Tuesday - he has lots to get caught up with before he goes - and its budget preparation time at the zoo - Catch up later - if not listen for the bells in Yarrawonga cheers luv Laurie |

Afternoon Waffling Wattlers Gwenda.....I've just pm'd you with some of Graeme's Yeo details. I've been sitting here at the puta reading your posts when I heard a great cacpohony outside the window. All the small birds which live on that side of the house were kicking up a storm. The noise was amazing. I looked out the window to see what the matter was and spied the culprit. It was a large bird about the size of a cockatoo but I couldn't recognise it. Out came the trusty bird book and the only thing I could find which looked like it was a Black Kite. No wonder the blue wrens, wag-tails and pee wees' were going berserk. It took off after a while followed by the pee wees' & waggies........a formidable group when they all get together. The cat.....asleep on the chair near the window..and the dog...asleep under the desk.....were undisturbed. I've booked my hotel room for the Brissie meet. I'm staying at Rydges just accross from Southbank on the Friday & Saturday nights. I have a twin room (2 single beds) so if anyone wants to doss down for the night.......just pm me. Oh..........by the way.......I'm told I snore. But I can't believe it. No Queen of the Nile could possibly snore! G'day Michael......nice to meet you. I'm glad you're here as Tony needs someone to play with sometimes :o) Tony.......how's your daughter? Big hugs for her and the little 5 year old. Devily.......yaayyyy to Dannielle on being picked as a school leader. You must be walking around with a big smile on yer dial :o) Very sad about the miners..........loving thoughts to their poor rels. Jude2......'Happy burfday to him, Happy burfday to him, Happy burfday MRJude2ooooooo, Happy burfday to him' Thank you, Thank you...no need for applause. See...........I can always manage to get a song in somewhere heeee heeee :o) Both my rays of sunshine are working late today so I think I might go and sit in the massage chair and read a book for a while. See ya'll later. ~~~~~~waves from the Royal Barge love Trifley |

Hiya Sandra thankyou for the welcome - amazing how many people know this part of Wales isn't it?? :0) I know Denbigh & Rhyl area very well it's not too far from here. The Great Orme is about 10 minutes drive away from where I live - one of my favourite places around there is the Happy Valley that looks out towards the sea from the clifftops there - great picnic area on a sunny day :0) If I get locked out again - have a lovely weekend everyone - I shall try to look in here regular see what you are all up to!! Lara hope you have a brilliant weekend and the weather to go with it!! Bye for now Liz x :0) |
