Afternoon Wafflers I must have my list wrong.......I've got Vonny's birthday as 19th. Happy day anyway Vonny. I wont sing happy birthday as sooo many peeps on this thread can't recognise a good singer when they hear one lol :o) Graeme has definately given me his head code.......mongrel! I'm snuffeling and sneezing and talking fuddy. Mark is still not well.........headache, aching joints, abdo pain and general malaise. He didn't go to gym last night so he must be sick. He's been in bed all day and doesn't even look like surfacing....poor angel. Lew Lew....hope you're feeling better soon. Also a <<<hug>>> to any others not feeling 100%. Hi Anna........you like the flower piccies? Mark is amazing with that little digi camera of his. I put all his photos on my desk-top so each day I have something new to look at. I would like to have his photos published in some form....perhaps a calendar next year. You never know.....someone might want to buy it. It would always be another string to his bow. A bit of a funny story. I met Barb ( 2nd time around ) as we were teenage sweethearts that went in seperate directions ( as ya do ). In 1992 we met again by accident...and i visited her home, where she had been living alone for 13 years. She invited me in for a coffee and a chat, and we both reminissed about our pasts. I noticed that her back door wasnt closing properly, so went to my Van and got some tools, and within 5 minutes the back door was operating correctly. Barb proceeded to tell me she had been waiting 10 years for someone to fix that bloody door....lol Well...............that was 13 years ago, and there just seems to be so many things that dont work in her house that need fixing??????...........:>)))) Tony Oz....:>)) update: Jude...lol Yes, i must admit i do say that to Barb....BUT.....lol......when we go shopping.....its, see that dress, perfume,jewellry........so its tit fer tat...:>))

Tony do you drive Barb mad like my hubby does to me? 'see that shop? I did that, and that one, and that one....' I always feel like saying 'see those jeans? Don't forget to get your flu jabs, ( says she who keps forgetting to ring the doc ). Sue, the feelings must be electric in Tassia at the moment. I am guessing that you can feel the tension. The emotions of the families of those miners must be all over the place. I just can't imagine what they are going through. I think we still need to pray for them. It is cold also here in the evening and morning, but good for sleeping all snuggled up. Just now it is quite warm. Went for the weekly shop this morning and got it all put away before lunch, for a change. Yesterday I cleaned out the food cupboards, so I had lots more room. Anna, I too wanted Toby to win. I am beginning to think it is a bit crooked. Toby was by far the best dancer, although Grant is very good. Am I right in thinking that all the winners so far have worked on Channel 7? We should all vote for Kostya, I would love to see him win. Trifley, I think you must be very smart, you got the same as me and I know that I am clever. LOL Rebs cheated, her daughter did a similar test and she remembered. Has anyone heard from Donna lately? Perhaps I will email her just to check. Hi Dr Tony...lol I have driven past Donan Castle and was very disappointed we were too late to get in, think it closed at around 4.30. Supposed to be worth a visit, I think they have lots of weddings there if I remember rightly. If your going down Bath way there are a couple of must dos...Laycock, where Pride and Prejudice,Emma, and one of the Harry Potter movies were filmed,200yr old town with lots of BMWs and Mercs parked out the front ...really weird to see. And Castle Coombe exactly what you expect a little old English village to be. Thanks for the pics of the weekend Laurie looks like a fun time was had be everyone, I will try for the next meet. Jude2

Afternoon everyone. Cold and windy day in Melb. Happy birthday Vonny x......:>)) and thanks for the Pic's of the Balloons. Not much happening on the work front, so will do a bit of research this afternoon. Have been looking at the Web at a Castle in Scotland called 'Eilean Donan Castle' near the town of Dornie, and the Isle of Skye......so we have decided to go have a bo peep when we are in Scotland. The Castle was once a stronghold of the McKenzie clan, and also ancestral line of one of Barbs customers, and as we will be staying in Fort William it is only about a 1and a bit hr drive away. Has anyone on the Wattle thread, been there?.....would be interested in there view's. Not long to go now before we take off to the U.K Have received the Lotto ticket from Gwenda ( last night ) so will wait till Vonny sends me the other lot, then Email all together. Devly - we're all waiting for news of the miners. They sound as if they're remarkably strong men, both physically and mentally. Sending lots of positive thoughts to them and their families and to everyone involved in the rescue operation. Poor Laurie - I've forgotten to turn off the alarm myself and it is so annoying to wake up early when you don't have to. Hope the filing is progressing well. Lara - did you put any photos of the Wonga meet on the net? I have the ones from Laurie but you did mention you were going to put piccies on also. Trifley - saw your beautiful photos of the flowers - aren't they gorgeous. You should put them on a post card or something. OH updated our Norton antivirus yesterday and forgot to block the pop ups - I nearly went mad with all the rubbish popping up on the genes site. Yes - he has now blocked the pop ups. Cold here again today. Daughter went off to school in her winter uiform for the first time this year. The girls are given 2 weeks to change from summer to winter depending on the status of the daily weather. I am so sad that dear Toby was voted out of Dancing with the Stars. He was my favourite. I suppose I am like a lot of people - liked him but didn't get off my lazy backside to vote for him. He seemed really upset for his partner as he wanted her to do well. Morning all Well we are still flat out chatting, thought I would come on here quickly and catch up as I havent been on since about Monday, derr should have known better. Anyway I am not going for my walk this morning as when I walked Danielle over the road to the bus stop it was cold with the wind cutting through you, so I thought thats it on the exercise bike today. It is cloudy with no rain at the moment but only about 9 degrees. Vonny happy birthday. All who are not well, hope you start feeling better soon. As I skipped through a couple of messages I am not sure what else has been happening. Good luck with our lotto this weekend. Everyone over here are waiting patiently for the news on the 2 miners still trapped, seems like it is an eternity from when they found them til now, but no doubt it will seem a lot longer for the 2 trapped and their families. At least they are in good health and that is enabling the rescue crew to work at a slower pace and making sure everything is done as safe as possible to get them out alive. Well David has updated this puta yesterday and has put in a new and bigger hard drive, ooh so now we have a big one lol , slaps hand for being naughty, pmsl, but I cant go to naughty corner as I now have to reload FTM and put all my info back on the puta from where I saved it to disc. So I figure that this would also be a good time to sort the files out and try and get them in some order. I will resurface again today sometime. Cheers Sue

Well I've just done a quick stint in the office and I'm back home again and what a lovely surprise was awaiting me. Not only was my scarf from Anne in Kent there, but also a Praline Flake from Jude2. Thanks Jude, I'll save it until I'm feeling a little brighter, although I'll have to hide it from hubby, lol. I shall bring my Anne scarf with me to the Brissie Meet! Lew Lew xxx

Monring All, not a good night, I'm afraid. Had the chills then the fever about 3 times and was absolutely soaked when I woke up. Have had a hot shower, will struggle to the office to do the necessaries, then home to bed! Maybe the stress of moving, retiring, racing around like a lunatic shopping here, there and everywhere, has finally taken its toll. Happy birthday Von, hope you have a fantastic day.
