Jude2 no I'm in St Helens which is near Liverpool. I'm usually pretty good with flat packs, it just takes me about 3 hours longer than what they sat on the instruction sheet lol

Hi Vonny My hubby says they put extra bits in the packets just to confuse you. You should see the huge pile of screws on the bench from the computer, every time he fixes it the pile grows...lol Im waiting for my dinning table, we were given a slab of jarrah 27yrs ago to make a table out of. OH said it had to dry properly before he could make it so it is in the garage drying....still Jude2

Gee whizz guys, almost three pages since this morning!!!! Table and chairs being put together as we speak. yes it was a flat pac!! Looks great. Table was easy but chairs are fiddley. Youngest daughter and Son I L have come to help. Hubby just put a chair together with the two front legs pointed up in the air! pppppppppppppppppppp Who needs instructions :) He's also just discovered some washers that should have been put underneath the screws! :0 Thanks for the piccy's Valley Girl - lovely. Morning eveyone :-) Well we've got the warmer weather but the sun's atill making it's mind up on whether or not to put in an appearance lol. Then again it's local elections today so it may not bother. My polling station is about a 5 minute walk away so I'm definitely voting because I hoping Labour will get another shock again this year. For decades they have always being the party in power on our council and got way too complacent. Until last year that is when they had to split the council with the Lib Dems which I'm sure did them a lot of good. Hoping it'll happen again this year so they don't just think it was a blip. The good thing about local elections is that they are annual so whoever you vote in can be voted out again after a year :-). Laurie sounds to me like those vilagers get the best deal, paid twice for one job lol. Lew glad to hear you're feeling better. Lara glad to hear your m wasn't too bad. Jude3 congratulations on the new twig :-) Wilson nice to hear you've finally had some rain, seems like some of my dances have finally paid off lol ;-) Vonny have funputting the table up...........just think of all those family meals and the memories they produce. I know what you mean....we have wafer biscuits in the office all the time, dont think I want the pink ones anymore. But I can still enjoy a whip...lol Time for Deal or no Deal...I watch while I cook tea, like to see how greedy peeps are, some of them loose all the money they had a chance to take home.
