Oh dear Tony - why the grim Oz - it sounds a bit too much like the grim reaper! Did you have salmon mousse for lunch out of one of those cans with no labels? Salmon mousse will do it every time. Thanks for the clearer lotto numbers - now all we have to do is wait for the right numbers to come up and it's time to get the enormous telly! All the better to see that contact sport thingy! By the way - I'm married to Chris and live in Toowoomba. No piccies on the net yet - trying to get somebody in my family who is computer literate to help me put them on but they are always too busy! Maybe tommorrow! Good luck for tonight everyone Anna I'm trying to help granson play PS2 game Monsters Inc - it's the blind leading the blind! |

Hi again Lew that is not a bad idea to make a list of wattlers along with their partners and where they are from. I have had a look a the photos and have to try and put together a couple of partners would hate to put the wrong ones together lol. I think we may have done this on the earlier thread but we can try again and hopefully someone will compile a list and put it on the thread so we can all know, or else yust leave it up to each individual to save the info to their own puta. Well Im Sue, as you know Im Tassie born and bred and still here, live only 10 mins walk from where I my parents were living when I was born and they still live in the same house. I live in sin with my partner David, David recons that he doesnt want to get married and spoil a good thing. David was born in Melbourne and migrated south to live with me nearly 4 years ago. Cheers Sue |

Hi Wattlers, I'm with you Tony. I hope that they managed to sneak the miners out. As if they haven't been through enough. It has made me rethink the news programs that I watch. Already stopped watching Today because the new ones laugh annoys me. I too am praying for Sophie. We get a miracle and then it is taken away. Lew have sent you an email re list. Laurie did you feel like an orphan when you lots all those ancestors. I have found a new 3rd cousin once removed. That is if I can be sure I have found the right 3rd great grand father. I am about 99% sure, but things can change. I hope every one is feeling well who was ill before Rebs, I really don't mind where we go. I am happy to bring wine if we need to. Not a big drinker any way with the diabetes. It's the company that I am looking forward to. All the photos are great, it's nice to put faces to names and it seems that everyone got along together really well. Finger and toes crossed for the Lotto tonight, we could take over Palazzio Versace for the weekend and have a big get together. Tony, have you taken your holday at the Whitsunday's yet? or are you saving it for a rainy day. Also sorry to hear about your daughter, but as you say, it's pointless to stay in a unhappy relationship. All the new grandparents and surrogate ones ( I have Lew in mind ), congratulations. Well I had better get a move on, still got ancestors to find Love SuzyQ |

HI back again just wanted to relay a story I heard the end of yesterday on the John Laws show this is re sort of your story Sue, a young man rang John and said Hello MR Laws I'm the person who found the Jewellery, I had missed the person apparently an elderly lady a friend of John Laws Family had rung him and said she had lost a bag full of jewellery and hoped someone had found it. This young man had, he said he opened it and looked inside there was noones name in or on the bag so he rang the police who came around to his house and then told him that the jewellery was worth about $200,000 no kidding she was walking around with that much jewellery he said 'omg my legs started to shake Mr Laws ' he said he had just met the woman but didnt mention that she gave him any reward, but John Laws said well I said I would give a reward to the person who found it so hang on the phone and I'll give you something maybe money maybe something else so there are exeptionally honest people around nice to know and if this woman didn't give him a couple thousand she doesn't deserve to have it back lol Also heard that Sophie is out of ICU and she is stable God bless ' Laurie did you find your people in the cemetery here at all when you went looking please might go and have look tomorrow if not to cold here otherwise, for you , Saying one for the miners too boy they will rich people when this is over just hope it doesn't leave them with PTSD a friend of mine got buried in a trench and had to be dug out and has never gotten over it he still has nightmares etc and drinks too much because of the stress but also won't do anything about treatment either' |

Ooo Flakey Jude, that is expensive for bananas. At Woolies today they were $8..99 per kg, very green and no bigger than your hand!! Why do they bother! Now, as I get a little confused, can someone do a list of Wattlers, their partners and where they come from? I leave this in the hands of the experts. I am Lewella, my husband is Terry and we come from Mudgee NSW! Lew Lew xxx |

Devily, what goes around comes around as they say ....something good will happen for that young man. Rake Boy you bought back memories of when we lived in Blackburn, we had a huge liquid amber on the fence line at the front of the house and I was forever trying to rake the leaves up but the wind always blew them back faster than I could rake. When OH built a front fence I made him build it around the tree. That way I figured the tree was the councils problem. Drove past there yesterday and there are leaves all over the place. Did the groceries this morning and am getting really p****d off at the stores that are replacing all the regular brands with their own brand goods....I will go without rather than buy some of that stuff, you have no idea where it comes from. Bought OH his bananas he cant live without, hope he enjoys them at $11.99 a kg Well the ironing awaits....back later Jude2 |

Good afternoon all , was a nice sunny day a minute ago but sun seems to have disappeared behind a cloud or sumpin its a bit chilly with our it, How does the garden look Lew?Is it all done yet or still a work in progress like mine I seem to have an interest back in mine again it was so disheartning coming home to things all dead and dying like some that not only cost a fortune but were like family wisteria, standard gardenia, which was lovely and a walking iris, normal gardenia and three rhodos and azaelias which was simply gorgeous all dead because someone who was living here rent free would not water them B****R , going to buy only ornamental grasses and drought resistant plants like Yukkas flax etc , will be back later have to eat starving LOLlove Lara |

Afternoon all Well it started off a nice day but it has turned overcast, threatening to rain. We had a bit of a news story on the 2 miners on our local radio this morning which made me laugh, as you have all heard they are quite a comical pair and they asked that when they walk out of the mine and get into the ambo, if it was possible for the ambulance to drive away from the mine and up the main street with their sirens blasting away lol. Good news on sophie hope she continues to recover, that poor family, you would feel like wrapping her in cottonwool and not letting her out of you sight after not one but 2 bad accidents. Another story which has been in our local news I want to know what your thoughts are. A 15 y/o who works at the local Coles supermarket while collecting trolleys the night before last, found an opened purse sitting in one of the trollleys, and noticed it had money in it, he immediately took it to the office where they discovered it had $5000 in it. when asked about it he said he handed it in as that was how he was brought up. Well in the paper today it had a small story on the event and the boy was given a $50.00 voucher from Coles for his honesty. the woman was reunited with her purse and contents and she gave the boy a reward, which was only right. The reward he go from her for his honesty of handing in the purse was $10.00 Now I though that amount was pathetic, am I greedy or do you think she could have given a bit more than that? Really doesnt give any incentive to the young kids of today to do the right thing when they hear a story like this. Cheers Sue |
