Hello everone, It's freeeeeezing here today, I haven't put nearly enough layers on and MUST sit in office and do paperwork today. Later I'll go to the gym and warm up. Miners are warm at least but they'll be a bit sick of 30 degrees, bet the BO is a bit rank by now !! Looks like one more night for them. What a horrid weekend of news with poor little Sophie too. Plus my footy picks were atrocious....(except I did pick Collingwood to win thank heavens). Ooh you'll love having a scanner/printer Jude 2 - silly me I've 'mislaid' the instructions to mine and need to scan some things tonight, hope I can work it out without the booklet. Laurie I have Picasa up and running, it's great, I have been able to sort my census scans properly into family groups so it's going to be easier to send off the attachments to various cousins who want them. I have also started a file for DD14 to make an album to take with her on a disc to Japan when she goes in October. Afternoon All, Another nice day in Queensland, rain would make it perfect. I too am having probelms on GC photos page. No photos, just a blank square with a red cross in top left corner. Gwenda, could you please send me your email addy again. I sent the list to you but it has come back. Double checked and it's the address you gave me. Pleased that John Woods won at last. Didn't watch the logies, at get bored with award ceremonies. Especially with people like Joan Rivers. Lets hope that they can get the miners out today, I can't imagine what it must be like to be buried alive all that time. 1 Hour for me would be bad enough. Might be good for the diet though. Sorry I don't mean to be trivial. Once again governments closing the door after the horse has bolted. I refer to the new traffic lights where poor Sophie was run down. Ofcourse it is still the drivers fault at the end of the day. Apart from speeding he obviously had a problem with his eye sight. Is every one over their colds and aches and pains? I hope so. Afternoon Wattlers, been a good little wife and mother this morning and finished all the H*****K so I dont feel guilty eating lunch at the puta.... like I care anyway...lol Finally got new printer/scanner up and running last night but having problems changing our email addy now from what telstra gave us to something we can remember. OH had it all figured out, no worries, easy, who needs to read the instructions, any fool can do it...........yea right....lol Well you lot have finally shamed me into trying to get my papers organized, but first I have to work on the study. Its a tiny room that has to hold a large tank complete with frog, 15yrs of craft materials(mainly belonging to girls), our hugh collection of books neither of us ever want to part with, OH 's puta and collection of bits he may need one day, my puta,and all my 'tree' stuff. Geez didnt sound too bad till I listed everything...guess I'll start by throwing out things I come across that no-one has used in the past couple of years and putting all my bits of tree info into a big box together. Then I'll have to find some sort of system to file it all. Could be a long winter. Lew shouldn't you be working, thought you said you were going to the office....lol I bet JudeYV is reading the thread while she sits in the office pretending to be busy too...naughty girls...I'LL be doing the same tomorrow...lol Just heard miners might not be free today, depends on the type of rock they find next....poor things. Afternoon All, stunning day in Mudgee today, not a cloud in the sky - so who cares, we don't want any rain anyway, ppppppp. I also can't view most of the photos on GC, must be a glitch in the system. Boy, those poor miners must have surely had enough by now. Let's hope that they finally get them out today. That Shane Warne is a pathetic specimen! Morning all Beautiful sunny day here today, too good to be inside, but I have to be stuck to this computer to fix up one of my main branches, as I had a cousin ring me from Sydney yesterday, he is in contact with another family member who needs a bit of help, so I have to make sure everything us up to date ready for her to make contact. Anna yes I also found the same as you with the GC photopage, albums are there and stating they have however many photos that has been put into the albums but you can not see the pics. Well must go and do my FH work, so instead of Forever Hunting, I am now sorting, sorting, sorting lol. Cheers Sue

Good morning Wattlers Stayed up to watch the Logies - am still gob smacked by Joan River's appearance. She's not the first American to get up on stage and make a complete spectacle of herself. I hope she gets to watch it back when she sobers up and has the grace to feel embarrassed! I must admit I don't watch a lot of the shows that got Logies - Blue Heelers, Home and Away etc etc but it was nice to see Mary Bryant get some recognition.The thing that really stopped me in my tracks was a flash back to a quizz show - I think Tommy Hanlon Junior - from the early days of TV which would have been around 1960 I guess. It showed a sweep of the studio audience and I nearly fell out of my Lazy Boy!! All these women who looked about 90+ with these funny little head hugging hats on, what looked like overcoats and there wasn't a smile to be seen - talk about grim looking! If any of you remember Ena Sharples from Coronation Street, they would have given Ena a run for her money! Have women changed so much in 45 years! Pink came on and did a number not long after with scantily clad girls strutttng their stuff on stage - I said to Chris that I think the old dears in the 60's quiz show picture would have had a heart attack on the spot if they had been subjected to such immodesty Shazz - I went into the GR photo pages and I couldn't seee anything in any of the albums - I only put my photos on there yesterday and Laurie added a photo to hers as well - all gone! ! All Tony's are gone too. I even signed in with my password but it made no difference. Don't know what's happened there. I tried to add some photos this morning but they wouldn't add - obviously a glitch somewhere. Can anyone else get into them? Hope everyone has a nice day Cheers Anna

Morning Wattlers, Well to start, hello to all those nice wattlers at the Yarrawonga meet, Tony &Barb, Gwenda&David, Heather&Barrie, Jude3 &Ken, Laurie & Ray, Vonny& John, and lastly and not least the Lovely hostess with the mostest, Lara and Mike, what a great night I had meeting all you lovely peeps, it seems that every time we all get together it just gets better and better Firstly to Lara and Mike a BIG THANK YOU for opening your home to us crazy bunch and for putting on a great meal and a fantastic company, Lara Im sorry for not coming to say goodbye on Monday morn but Rob and I left at 6.00 in the morning and I somehow thought that you wouldnt have liked me banging on your door at that time BUT Again a VERY BIG THANKYOU We arrived in Canberra on Mon afternoon and spent the night and next day with Robs sister and BIL at the War Memorial but had to leave on Wed as received a call that mum was to go into hospital on that day so we cut our holiday short and came home Vonny Im sorry we never had the time to spend with you was so dissapointed, waiting all that time for a break just to have it cut short, but never mind there is plenty of weekends to travel down Laurie thanks for the photos, cannot seem to get onto GC photos any more, keeps bringing up the albums with the red cross on them and says I have to be a member to view them, dont know what has happened Hi to my twin Jude3, Rob still having nightmares thinking there is two of us, hehe thinks his nerves were bad before now ther'e really shot, keeps seeing two of us and says Oh God No not another one HAHA Hello Tony, Barb won any more contest lately,?
