She is sooooo cute :) Daughter is not well and very tired - this has certainly been a different pregnancy for her. Hello everyone Oh Lara - couldn't you just spit chips when that happens! We'll look forward to getting your update later on when you've calmed down..... have a medicinal shot of something strong! Went bush walking this morning with the fearless bushwalking group - walked around near the place where I grew up and it's amazing to see how much development has gone on there. Then of course back to town for coffee and cake!! Two of the group members are heading off over seas within the next week - one to Canada and one to UK. Oooohh - I'm getting itchy feet! Nice to see the new photos on the board Laurie and it was discreet of you to edit out the wine bottles and the warts! And why wouldn't Colleen say you were three witty, intelligent women - all Wattlers are witty and intelligent be they men or women! I really laughed when you said you had left out the 's' off photospage! Jude ... makes a difference huh? Lew - if you think I am going to outbid you for Nefer you can think again. Heather how true...lol Got the lotto nos thanks Tony. Isn't it hard when you welcome your childs partner into the family and then all of a sudden they split. Bit different if the other half has done the wrong thing tho. My daughters boyfriend has been in our house nearly every day for the past 5yrs and now we really miss seeing him, he had become one of the family. But your kids will always come first. Afternoon Wattlers Well we have another cool but sunny day here today. Went to put the hose on the widscreen today to melt the frost and the hose was frozen, dont know how cold it got to, minus something probably. For Mothers Day David is taking me out to my Nans place where we will have a lovely Sunday roast with Nan, my Mum and Dad, brother, sister and a couple of Aunts and Uncles. Then its back into town, pick up my children and out to the Casino for tea, if I can eat 2 hot meals in one day, oh well there goes a bit of weight back on :-( Tony, of course your daughters will alway be first, and your daughter wouldnt want it any other way, I know my Dad would look at it in the same way. Hope she ( sorry missed her name) is soon settled down and finding a better life for her and her children. Cheers Sue

Hello everyone, I've finally stopped for lunch (leftover beef casserole)and had a peek at the lovely photos and even went back and found a few ones posted that I hadn't seen. Tidied up yet another drawer in a filing cabinet yesterday and found some gems to share - see below. It's still burry cold here but I'm wearing more layers. Life is pretty routine, not much to say. Found an annoying hole in the 1851 Census in York where ggguncle the jeweller and watchmaker should be, darn. Silver was hallmarked in York until 1858, I have a delusion that I might be able to find his mark ( have to find an obscure book to look up if he is listed with one) and then an object he made!! Well, no harm dreaming!! Anyway I have earmarked some time tonight to research people in 1841 and 1861 and addresses in 1851...... he could be mistranscribed (his brother is under marriages as Puston - charming !!!lol ). Meanwhile DD14 and OH are plotting for Sunday, I will work as usual I don't mind Sunday mornings, last year I insisted we go out for lunch but this year, I don't know, perhaps the movies. Did anyone see 'The World's Fastest Indian' with Anthony Hopkins - it's filmed in OH's hometown (Invercargill NZ), he remembers Bert Munro's house (shed) as being exactly like it was depicted. I did it!! I've seen the pics. I was leaving the s off photospage...derrrr Anyone doing anything special for Mothers Day? We had dinner with Roys Mum last night for her 81st birthday and will pop in on sunday with some flowers and my sister and I will go to Geelong and take my mum out for lunch tomorrow. I will spend sunday with my daughter and probably go out for lunch. With a bit of luck we will also be celebrating our lotto win...lol Jude2

I am amazed this morning . . . have just received an email from the chap, Flemming in Denmark who is looking for my dead peeps for me, and he informs me that on Monday 29th May, he will go to Langeland Island for 4 nights to visit records office, churches and graveyards for me to take photos and collect documents on my family. How kind is that, and for no fee! Wonder, was it my mum or my grandpop who arranged that meeting in Singapore ? ? ? Hi Wattlers Goodness me gardening can be sooo exhausting and I was only doing the supervising. Saw the photos from the mini Mudgee meet. You 3 look as if you had a great time. I think I could hear you all cackling from here. How is Mudgee going to handle a full meet next year? It'll probably be a 7 on the Richter scale heee hee.
