Trifley

Trifley Report 12 May 2006 10:00

For Tony's daughter A good disco song by Gloria Gaynor, performed for your pleasure tonight by Trifley At first I was afraid I was petrified Kept thinkin' I could never live without you by my side; But then I spent so many nights Thinkin' how you did me wrong And I grew strong And so you're back from outer space I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face I should have changed that stupid lock I should have made you leave your key If I'd've known for just one second you'd back to bother me Go on now, go walk out the door Just turn around now ('cause) you're not welcome anymore Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye Did I crumble Did you think I'd lay down and die? Oh no, not.I. I will survive Oh as long as I know how to love I know I'll stay alive; I've got all my life to live, I've got all my love to give and I'll survive, I will survive. Hey hey. It took all the strength I had not to fall apart Kept trying' hard to mend the pieces of my broken heart, And I spent oh so many nights Just feeling sorry for myself. I used to cry But now I hold my head up high And you see me somebody new I'm not that chained up little person still in love with you, And so you feel like droppin' in And just expect me to be free, Now I'm savin' all my lovin' for someone who's lovin' me Go on now, walk out the door I will survive!

Did I hear someone mention MERLOT? I was in the kitchen (I know....strange place for me) and I heard that wonderful wine mentioned. I came scurrying in here but, alas....no glass on my desk. Did you guzzle it all yourself, Jude Yv? Do you think I might have scared away the rain with my singing? The clouds looked promising but no rain yet....bugger. Hi Wilson.....have fun on the tractor on Sunday. I'll be thinking of you. Give me land, lotsa land under starry skies above, Don't fence me in. Let me ride through the wide open country that I love, Don't fence me in. Let me be by myself in the evening breeze, And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees, Send me off for ever but I ask you, please, Don't fence me in. How's all our peeps with sore throats, colds and other assorted bugs? Keep drinking plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. Healing thoughts are winging their way to you. Hi Tony.....your daughter will be much happier now. Glad to hear she has settled in ok. Going to do a bit of digging, so I'll see you all later. ~~~~~~~~~waves to everyone love Trifley

OMG, I've just had the weirdest coincidence! A girl in London has been in touch with me regarding her great grandfather, Arthur Watts, born to Eliza Watts (no father) in Camperdown Victoria and has sent me an image of his birth registration. We are connected through Eliza's sister Margaret. Margaret's daughter Leura married a Garfield Burtt, son of John Walter Burtt from Philadelphia. Well, on the birth certificate she has sent me for Arthur, directly below his birth, is one for Garfield's brother Frederick Burtt. I know this all sounds convoluted, but this girl is in London! Is this world getting smaller or what! Praise be to the internet, I say. Lew Lew xxx

Ooo Tony, look out, someone is keeping an eye on you, lol. Wondered how you were going Wilson. How are the crop circles panning out! I know how you feel, Sandra. I'm off to Sydney again tomorrow and am frightened to log on when I get back. I'll have to see if I can use my friend's computer, otherwise I'll never know what's been happening. Gotta go, Lew Lew xxx

I have to work an early, so will be out of bed at 0545hrs.....cold, dark,no breakfast in bed ....feeling a bit sorry for myself :-((((((. Ahhhh the evils of money. On the bright side, crop is going in well, 150 acres in and 450 to go.....the rain can hold off now for a few more days. I found a glitch in my tree, was reading some old research stuff and found a reference to a couple that said .....george....., only son of, ect and i had george with a brother, b****r, back to try to work out why i gave him a brother....wish my filing system was in better order hehe. Maybe it is time i did a complete sort out....nah think the jobs too big for one....or two, or three lol. Well i am off to find the equivalent to a vb,...checking clock...yep is after 11.00hrs. Take care all and have a lovely mother's day, even if you have to spend it on your own, do something nice for yourself. Wilson

Dear Trifley What a lovely rendition of that song and such creative lyrics. I'll sing along with you. And Tony and Laurie. All together now - Oh, give me a home where the buffalos roam And I'll show you a house full of - dirt.... We could be the Wattle Warblers! And Trifley - may your culinary endeavours be successful. :>) Anna (In case anyone is a bit slow on the uptake - I'm being extremely nice to Trifley or she may lock me out of the hotel room in Bris Vegas)

Hi ya Wattlers I'm finally back! took me 2 days to read all the messages. Vonny belated condolences for your loss of a dear friend, and congratulations on the new g.daughter. Thanks Tony for lotto numbers, finally got to check my emails yesterday (just before I went home). fingers crossed. Thanks to everyone who sent emails, just haven't been able to read them all as yet. It was first time on computer since last friday. so inbox is very full. Ken had a rotten sore throat last week, ended up with a head cold and needed lots of TLC. Well I cared and he shared and I have been feeling headachey and yuk all week, even had an extra day off work this week, good thing I can type because have no voice to talk and I can't get rid of my bad sore froat.. (Ken and Jonathon have been doing high 5's and 'toyota jumps' all week in celebration!). Ken reckons I could get a job on 'the phone' (1 900?) while the voice is husky - I would just frighten them away asking them to 'behave themselves.' UPDATE- Ken just read my message and said - no you would just be pe***g yourself laughing! Have to be better by tomorrow afternoon as I'm booked to start painting the cottage ! lol. Mothers day will see me with tools in hand helping to build a verandah. I dropped some massive hints about needing a new drop saw for mothers day - I'll let you know whether I was successful.lol. Ken said can't you just say you want some flowers like most mothers! Nah where's the fun in that. Maybe I'll change my name to the DIY Queen. Trifley it must be cold up north if casserole is on the menu. Had a look at your 'artytifact' looks a bit too ornate for batteries! Lara where is your mind ( the gutter methinks) Had a look at the mudgee mini meet pics what a loverley trio! Sounds like you all had a good time. Laurie needs to change her name to 'on the road again' - off gallavanting - well at least the house stays cleaner with no one in it - lol Hello to everyone - can only wave catch you later Jude 3

Just finished last job for a.... Mr.TITUS....:>)) Try saying that when ya had a few VB's......lol Lew. Thanks for checking for me, its a possible, but the GRAY throws a spanner in the works. Margaret Bailey was Barb's G,Grandma who died in 1929 in Oz and gave her mum's name on cert. as Annie Doyle.......but this may be wrong? But it has given me something elst to check for now, and other sibling deaths of Margaret's may give mothers name as Gray....so thanks for looking for me. Shazz. Did you get the AVRI working o'k. I will send you an Email. Lara. Yes, daughter is fine now, and already settled into her own dependancy.....and matters a fact.....is quite enjoying it....lol She rang me today and said it was great to be able to wake up in the morning and not have to cut the crusts off hubbies sandwiches for his lunch box.....lol She was singing....I am Woman hear me roar!!!......... Dont know what thats all about?......:>)) Time for a VB tablet. Av a good un. Tony Oz....:>))
