Evening all . . . Thats odd the numbers thingy . . . If someone was no longer a memeber of GR do their messages dissapear from the boards ??? Does anyone know ??? Then it will be . . . who is no longer a member ??? Ray laughs at me Rebs, because I have my own tool box . . . and there is only the two of us !! Its a hang-up I developed from the boys not returning things to the tool box . . Instead of getting upset with them I got my own and NOONE is allowed to touch it. Ray has to ask me if he wants to use anything out of it - and wouldn't dare not return it to my hot little hand when he is finished. Well I went all out and cooked dinner so we could eat early, then at 5.30 the 'LOVELY' Ray rings to say he wont be home for dinner, he is eating out with the Chinese visitors !!! mumble mumble - Oh well neighbours hubby got a nice piece of grilled barra for tea, and I enjoyed mine. I couldn't freeze it - I had marinated it! Messages have been flying thick and fast between the new contact today, my cousins wife - he is 75, and has so many memories of my mum, and my grandparents. 9.15am flight in the morning - we will only be in Auckland, and I believe it is pretty cold there at the moment, so lots of woolie packed. I still should be able to come on line most days - so dont think I wont know whats going on . . . lol Ancestry calls - got a few things to look up so will drop back later and see what u's all up to luv Laurie

Vonny......a message from Graeme.....he says there is a big wharehouse that holds ALL the missing pieces from jig saw puzzles. It's at the south pole! Smart a**e isn't he? Poor Jules I can relate to that if you recall my daughters chickens who got out (earlier message). .. S'matter of fact, I had to go up to said daughters place today to see if the said chickens had plenty to eat. ,, And what happens .. gate was open from their cage, and they all came running and clucking into the cage to see what I had for them, could have easily locked them up this time!!!!!!!!!!! Little buggars! I bet that kitten was watching you in the dark somewhere! Jood

I'm not a handy man at all, my ex took care of everything .. carpentry, electrical, painting, mechanical, bricklaying, you name it, so consequently short of changing a light bulb, thats all I can do. .. Though I must admit I was taught how to change a tyre, put water in the battery, years ago when I was younger. .. I could even rewire one of those thingies in the thingie box out the front of the house pmsl So, I am a helpless female :-(( Lew, we only have about 70 in the club, but today, with guests, we had 144. .. Normally they only buy about $2 worth of tickets, but today we had a few 10's, several 5's as well ........ We had got to $400 (appropriate for our 40th birthday), but a few late comers (and there are always a few) took it up to about $420. .. It all goes to the Smith family. .. We had lots of prizes, and for the lucky door prize, we gave away 40, all wrapped in red paper with white ribbon (ruby anniversary). .. Most were donated, I must confess some do the rounds. Like, I will win a small raffle on my Tuesday outing, and donate it back to View Club .. a lot of people do that !! Rayyyyyyyyyyy for the rain Trifley!!! .. (I know its an evil necessity, and I know it always rains just after you've spent hours watering) Jood
