Hi Joodles When I added my original msg I saw it come up all by itself too. Thought at first that Lara had somehow managed to delete the thread lol cos that's happened to me before. I've added a post about the same time as someone has deleted their thread, my post came up on its own then disappeared completely. eeeek I do hope I haven't led y'all astray, but my Search page on Ancestry is different now than it was 2 days ago, and I didn't have Yorkshire Parish records before, which is where I have been happily hunting. For example, do a search for George Preston: spelling exact, year range 1700 to 1900, Country England, County Yorkshire, under birth marriage and death choose the fourth option Yorkshire Parish records, choose the third from the top marriages, find hubbys ggggrandfather ‘s marriage (to Elizabeth Hobson), along with the witnesses named- I would’ve had to go to Yorkshire to get this stuff before, and IGI has the record but not the witnesses or occupations!. In the births sometimes there are comments about the babies and the single mum’s, it’s fantastic to read. I’ve found clues to two mysteries and created a whole lot of new questions for myself all in 24 hours!! Have to stop and cook, late night shopping here, we eat late on Thursdays then go to bed – night night, enjoy your bling!!! Heather
