~~re fines~~ ( can you tell I've just found out about that little wiggly bit top left on keyboard lol) all I know is that when I got speeding ticket middle of day empty road no traffic around cop told me to write an explanation of circumstances and see what happened so I did and got a caution ( I was above speed limit of 50 k's in built up area about a month after speed was reduced from 60k's,so not used to new speed, also, they were out catching people just to raise awareness). So I reckon if she writes a nice polite letter explaining that she's a non-smoker and doesn't allow smoking in her car, says where she was and what doing at that time of day, with offer of witnesses to corroborate her statements ie shows that she won't take it lying down,but being formal about it, I reckon she's got a good chance. These fines are all political revenue raisers, play their game but don't roll over !! ~~ tosses head ~~~ so there lol !! Hz in Alb

Hi Jude It might be worth it. Surely if they had a look in the car they could tell if there had been someone smoking in it. How did they come about giving the fine? Did someone say they saw her or was it on camera? Sue

Do either of you know anything about EPA fines? My daughter has received a $210 for 'driver throwing a lit cigarette on roadway' Jess doesn't smoke and doesn't allow anyone else to smoke in her car. Do you know if its worth trying to fight these fines or not?

Heather yes I do agree the Simpsons are definately better than South Park from what I've heard. My OH also corrected me as he is sitting next to me on other puta and he got his email addy from Grumpy old men not Simpsons.

Yes Maggie supporters are funny arent they. My son goes for Collingwood and earlier he said he hasnt really followed the foot lately, well last week he asked me if I knew who was on top of the ladder as someone told him it was the pies, of course they make a noise when they are on top lol.

I don't watch Simpsons much myself but relented to constant pressure to let DD14 watch it 'everybody does' lol BUT I have found some very interesting topics of conversation have come up because of it, and the background music is often good oldies so OH gets to enjoy that - it can be very witty too. Its more harmless than some other cartoon stuff that's on, I banned South Park from the start and I know DD has seen some episodes but she shows no interest in turning over to it as a rule. In fact she watches very little tv, preferring music and computer games (and I keep her busy lol !!) ~ Hz in Alb

Yes Sue and if we loose I owe Tony and Lara and a couple of guys at the factory....but if we win I collect and I wont let them forget we won... FIL was a one eyed collingwood supporter and used to drive everyone crazy, so now I love to see them beaten
