Good morning Wattlers Chilly here today too - have a jumper on! The sun comes into our family room from the North and it is just beeeautiful sitting in there - Chris and I have been drinking coffee and doing the crosswords. Very lazy day. Dear Joodles - listen to your cuz and behave. Don't take any chances with your convalesence. Sit back and smell the roses for a while and let your body heal. And let Laurie make you chicken soup and bring you little delicacies to tempt your appetite. No - not Nefer you bad girl. Laurie, please give Jood my love when you are talking to her as she's not online. Shazz - haven't been to the Wintersun Festival but it sounds like fun. So glad you are planning to come to Brisvegas meet up. Don't worry about the Casino RebS - we'll wing it and will have no trouble finding somewhere to carry on. What time should we meet at the South Brisbane Station? Have to get the ferry and then be at the Casino in time to visit the Powder Room before 11.30. Daughter's choir won the trophy for gaining the highest aggregate for Secondary Schools - they are chuffed! Even though they didn't get a first, they got a 2nd in each of their sections and gained the highest marks overall when they were added up. Footy tonight - State of Origin, go the Maroons. Pizza and merlot for me! Hubby can have the pizza but not the grog as he is still on loads of medication. Poor darling! Catch you all later XX Anna

Mmmorning Wwwattlers Brrrr bit cold here today. sitting shut up in my kitchen with the heater on, as this ol place is too big to have electric heating running all day when only I am here. House has no insulation and high ceilings. Warmer outside than in. Joodles as everyone else has said, take Lauries kind offer. I know from last year and Shazz can probably back me up, it takes a while to get over pneumonia, it is not just a flu or cold, you will need someone to look after you and help as you will feel like s**t and not have any energy to do anything. I am sure the others going to the BBQ will put it off for a few weeks. Hope everyone else is well. Cheers Sue

Morning Wattlers, sunny but chilly in Melb today, not that it matters to me as I'm stuck in the office. Lew, less than 5 weeks ...just incase you've lost count...lol Now Joodles, do what the doctors tell you. And if Laurie is willing to look after you then take her up on the offer, just think if the situation was reversed you would do the same I'm sure. Besides at Lauries you can use the puta , you can't in hospital. Best get back to work, will chat later, 'hi ' to everyone Jude2

***ATTENTION*** All those casino bound. Has anyone ever been to the Treasury before? Looked up Blackjacks, no booking necessary, which is good. But they are only open for lunch from 11.30 - 2.30, then dinner from 5.30. We need a place to park our entourage in between. Surely they must have bars or lounges ? any ideas.....please, anyone !!! And news on Joodle Bella? Sent her a card yesterday, but she may not be able to collect it if she has no net access. Must keep moving, shopping trip with the girl beckons. toodaloo!!!

Morning Wafflers It's a beeeewdiful autumn day here on the Gold Coast Blue sky, the sun is shining and the air is crisp. The gods are in their heavens and all is right with the world. The gutter guard went in and Graeme didn't fall off the roof, it was only the broom he was using to sweep out the gutters. Mark has changed some of the water in the fish tank and the little fellows seem happy now they can see where they are going (lol). Doesn't it make you feel good when you can tick off some of these small jobs? JOODLES....yooo....hooo....can you hear me? You must do as Laurie says and go to her place. Never let the opportunity to get pampered go by. A chance you miss is a chance you're never going to get! Big <<<<hugs>>>> and kisses from Nefer and the boys. Hi Cat, how ya going? Saw a news report about the Chelsea Flower show last night. I'd love to see that. Have you ever been there? Thanks for looking on Amazon for me. We have quite a few of Christian Jacq's books He seems popular so I don't think we will have too much trouble getting books 2, 3 & 4 of this series. Hi Shaz....we live 5 mins from Robina at a place called Mudgeeraba. How long are you staying? Perhaps we could get together for coffee at Robina Town centre. Must toodle. Mark is giving blood today and I'm going to drive him. He has a naturaly low BP and sometimes feels a little dizzy after he donates. 'Byeee ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~waves as she hunts son out from under bed. Morning all :) Shazz, I have my priorities right. The TV is in the loungeroom - COLD and my computer is in the family room next to the fire :)))))) Both the cat and dog are lying in front of the fire at the moment. It's a gray morning here but I do love the seasons. Everything in its turn. I am actually quite apprehensive about this trip. It is always 'fun' to travel with my Korean friends - I don't understand Korean and their English is very limited! makes for some very interesting scenarios I can tell you and I get very lonesome for an Aussie voice! So anyone who want's to accompany me ............................. you're welcome :) Much prefer travelling with hubby but he can't come. (actually he hates plane travel). have an unexpected home day today so going to make the most of it :) ~~~~~~~~~~~to all, especially to Jood, blessings and hugs, Vonny

Good morning Wattlers, Are u your online Joodles ??? - hope your feeling less like a bus hit you and more like your old self! The lovely Ray has been fed and watered, lunch box packed and check listed out the front door! A lovely sunrise this morning over Botany Bay - we have some high dark clouds, some fluffy white stuff on the horizon with a small strip of blue in between - so the sun rising with all that going on was startling! Just two giraffes with their heads up high - Ray pointed out that they are the maroon ones . . . . . I didn't have the heart to tell him there is a difference between maroon and red !! Poor man never gives up - since we have been here in Sydney, he has decked his office out with his maroon jumper, streamers etc. for State of Origin football, only to go into the office next day and find dirty blue sox etc everywhere. He had ordered two tickets for the game tonight, but they never arrived - had to have them reissued yesterday! (Hopefully friends he invited to go has speedy recovery today from sniffles and I dont get dragged along). I received miles of info from GR member last night on my BIL's Forsyth line - one of their contacts have it way back to an Odin Forsite in the 300's . . . mind blowing - I'm wondering how much of it is verified !! I'm playing ladies today . . . . ironing ladies - yuk - no matter how you try and dress it up it is still the worst job on the planet. Hope you all have a lovely day, catch up later cheers (waving maroon streamers just for Ray) luv Laurie
