Let someone else do the digging, planting, watering,manureing,...and then he gets the benefits...The fruits of my Labour........lol Trifley. Best wishes for to-morrow, mate. Jood. Evening all, It was lovely reading the last pages. I've had a great day, did all the things that i intended - even a bit of a sleep in. Went for a paddle and immersion , no fishing though. My possum isn't overseas, maybe if he was i'de get some spring cleaning done. Gave him the multi guitar rack (fondly referred to as the bike rack) for fathers day and he immediately knew it was an Yvette's self interest pressie, but impressed all the same. Kayaking was great, 'cept i got a 4 seasons in the day. Worked really hard against the wind & got rained on. pmsl as when i finally got out after 3 hours , i nearly fell over from being worn out. went home and had a sleep on the lounge in front of dr who dvds. Lebanese bread veg. pizzas 4 tea and i'm ready for a shower and bed all over again. Golly the weekend flies past! night all, love Yvette |

good evening well the Mudgee meet is going to be fantasic Joan this is fantastic news so glad you've decide to join the mad people and become one of the Wattlers they are sometimes naughty and sometimes unruly but so friendly and wonderful you'll love them all like you've known them all your life. Donna did Zacks team do well just hope they had a great day. Mary Judy is so terrific she gave up her whole day to try and sort it for me,so hopefully it is don't know though still can't start it in safe mode so something is wrong still also don't know about the whole thing as it was hibernating and we'll see if that's stopped. BUT please all of you download Judy's maintanance tips on the tips board and do what she says every week so then all these nasties don't happen. I have AVG Professional and Ad-Aware but didn't have Spy Blaster this is to stop them coming into your putor according to Judy so its very important so if they get through then Ad-Aware will get rid of them but I have been naughty and not done the maintanance every week like removing temp files and cookies and defragging and disc scan much better than going through this Anyway glad you had a lovely day Laurie I must go and see you all tomorrow love Lara P.S.Joodles have nice time Vonny glad you had nice weekend. |

Evening all you Wattlers. Sorry about my tickets not bringing forth any moulla!! Shall have to tell those kids off at the newsagency for selling me the wrong numbers!! Hope everyone had a good Fathers Day. I had totally forgotten what day it was until daughter returned from weekend away and asked me how I enjoyed my father's day alone!! Spoke to OH yesterday, now 2 weeks since he went o/s, he said weather in UK is rats, I said 'Never mind, it's brilliant here!!' I spent the day madly spring cleaning, surprising how much I can achieve when I have the house to myself. Plus tomorrow I have a day off work and thought I would just do my own thing, walking, gardening, reading etc (practising for retirement......) Okay all catch up with you later Lyn |

Sounds like everyone has had a good weekend. Me too.. I got all my photos sorted and packed into photo boxes then I watched the footy (only bad part of the day). After that my girls rang from Vegas, they are having a great time together which is fantastic as they are 6yrs apart and have never really been close.Jess is excited as they met the boys fron Thunder Down Under and one of them lives not far from us and gave her his number. Now after a roast tea followed by syewed apple and icecream Im going to cuddle up on the couch with my very tired Oh and watch a movie. See you all tomorrow Flakey |

Good evening all . . . Firstly - hope all the dads have had a lovely Fathers Day, Tony nothing better than a family gathering for any reason - but on Fathers day just that little more special. I have lots of memories to relive today as I always shared my birthday with my Dad - it was always 'our day' no matter what day my birthday actually fell on. Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes, I have had a wonderful weekend. We left here yesterday morning and headed into Brighton to Glens place, and Paul came down and met us there. We had lunch and headed off to the wedding together. Amanda's parents migrated here from Scotland as teenagers, so it was fitting that the guys in the bridal party wore kilts as did about half of the guest list. The wedding was held at St Andrews in South Brisbane, and of course there were pipers a plenty. I blubbered through most of the ceromony, Amanda is our princess anyway and yesterday she looked like a fairy princess. The reception was down by the river at Yeronga, and we had such a good time. Being with our boys is so special on its own and Amanda is so much a part of our family. Ray was called on to make a speach as Amanda's 'other Dad' . . . then Richard the real father decided we should get half the bill - so Ray added that while we have always taken great care of Amanda, it came with a no responsibility clause! We left the reception at about 11.30, and as we had Amandas bed for the night we got to spend the rest of the evening sitting chatting remembering all the good and bad times in her life with her parents Richard and Cathy. Up early this morning and back over to Glens, then the boys and Narelle (Glens girlfriend) took us out to lunch up at Redcliffe. This afternoon back over to Amanda's to download our photos on to her computer and back out to Cedar Grove. TLR has gone for a nap . . . all this warm weather has made him sleepy. I was spoilt rotten today, the lovely Ray did well . . . in the Prouds parcel was a lovely pair of earings, if I remember I will take a pickle tomorrow. He done well Lew, followed our instructions well !!! (do you remember giving him instructions at Sydvegas ???) I got masses of flowers, the boys found me a 'rooster' . . . I sort of collect all things chook !!! and my birthday rooster is a really clever creation - made from all sorts of odds and ends, springs, bolts, nuts, chains . . . he is lovely! Paul picked him up at a gallery on the sunshine coast. The boys also gave me a pocket external drive for the puter, and some other bits and pieces. Amanda and Mat gave me a lovely photo frame with first wedding photo in it, and friends over the creek gave me a lovely basket with home made relishes and dressings, marinated feta, and jams. JA I am so glad you are going to make it to the Mudgee meet . . . sounding like it is going to be massive . . . Joodles, have a lovely trip tomorrow - but take it easy! How sad that we didn't manage a big win last night - with all those chances, but fitting that Wattie should save the day!!! Ah well, our turn must be getting closer!!! Going to go read some mail, and catch up on what you have all been up to. Thanks you again for the good wishes, I truley am blessed to have such lovely friends luv Laurie |

After we had a lovely baked Chicken, then home made cheesecake and meringue, sat down and watched the start of V8 Supercars, then came home and as it is the end of the footy season, I decided to take all my Hawk stuff down, oh I also watched the footy while doing it :-))))))) Jood I think its tomorrow you are going to Geelong, have a safe and happy trip. Catch you when you return. Ok better go and cook some nice toasted tuna sandwiches for tea. ~~~~~~~~ to all~~~~~~~ Cheers Sue |

Afternoon Wattlers. Well, as predicted it rained!!! Poor Mudgee Race Club. It started raining about 10am, stopped at 12 noon (by which time we had decided not to go) then at about 4pm we were hit with a massive thunderstorm. Our guests last night didn't leave until way after midnight, we Terry and I just lazed around all day. Joan, I'm thrilled that you're coming to the Mudgee Meet. Please pm me your address and I'll ensure that you get a Tourist Guide to whet the appetite. What's your computer problem Trifles? I'm off to do a bit of FH research ~~~waves to all the wonderful Wattlers~~~ Lew Lew xxx |
