Good afternoon all you lovely Wattlers!! Laurie... wonderful pics you sent me.. seems you had a great time and I feel I must send my Poledancing Crown to Trifley...lol... Some new faces for me and hope to catch you all next year... it seems I may be over around July but will of course keep you updated on that nearer the time... maybe a national meet could be arranged? Or am I asking too much? The weather is very changeable here at the moment... our heatwave was short lived and we now have an abundance of rain... as usual... My diet seems to be working .. have lost 10lbs since the Blackpool trip... don't look much different... but I must admit, me backside is a bit smaller...lol...well according to the tape measure anyway... Am just taking a break on here from that dreaded household chore...ironing... but needs must, as if I don't do it, I will be walking round in a bin bag... All my family are well and everything is ticking along nicely for a change... will be xmas before we can turn round, and then it's gonna be sorting out mine and Ians trips around the globe... he still hasn't decided where yet but definitely coming in May, so at least I have a starting point .... So glad everyone is well on the thread and my love to you all... Catch you soon... Anne xxx |

How-de-do-de Wattlers I am one tired little Waffler tonight. It is amazing how tireing talking can be. Not, of course, that I did much of it....after all I am the quiet one....heee heee. The pickle of me doing a pole dance must have been altered using computer graphics. Could any of you imagine the Queen doing something like that? We all behaved ourselves.....didn't get kicked out of the Rissole, so we must have been good. I think if today was a dress rehersal then Mudgee is going to be fantastic. Big hugs and ~~~waves to all you wonderful peeps. I'm off to bed.....gotta have a good sleep in preparation for tomorrow. And as the loved Steve Irwin would say.....'Crocks rule'. love Trifley |

Ah Flakey, Your daughters have brought back lovely memories for me! Last year while I was in Vegas with Ray for a conference, he sent me off for a day trip on a helicopter to the Canyon. It was brilliant !!! The chopper pilot was terrific, he swept low over the Hoover Dam first, then up and down in the Canyon making sure we saw everything from every angle. Then he landed down the bottom and I dangled my feet in the Colorado River - we were suppose to have a champagne lunch down by the river, but the picnic basket had been left behind (teehee) Turned out to be a blessing to me, I went for a nice walk along the river and once around the bend away from everyone else it was like I was in the an old cowboy & itchybum movie. I kept looking along the ridges for the Itchybums to show up!! lol Then we took off again and went further into coves in the canyon - and then landed up on the rim so we could get some photos from up there !! It was a magic day !! Such an amazing place - I think the size and the colours are what blew me away. But then you could say the same thing about Vegas . . . . the size & the colours !!!! Off to look at old photos cheers luv Laurie |

Evening all Just checking in before I go to bed. Thanks for the pics, looks like you all had fun. Yes I am nearly packed and ready to go, still have a week here, I have a funny feeling it is going to go soooo slooooow. Incase I cant get on here for a while dont worry, I am ok, well except for being p*****d off. Our broadband will be cut off at this place tomorrow and we are supposed to be able to use dial up internet service, but we are having all kinds of fun, have ran Dodo and wouldnt you know it they are, as they put it extremely busy at the moment and a technician will get back to us within about 24 hours !!!!!! Great. So what is happening is we can dial in but it disconnects before we can do anything much as in a minute or two. I have got Sheila to do the birthday thread, incase anyone is wondering, just to be safe if I cant get on here. I am sure that if anyone needs to contact me for example if we win big on Lotto this Saturday, I believe SuziQ has my ph numbers on the wattlelist, also a couple of others that I have met should have my number. Well I guess this is it so if I cant get back on before next Fri 15th or Sat 16th, I hope everyone stays well, has fun and maybe miss me just a little bit, as I know I will miss all of my great friends I have made on here, Gee I sound sooo morbid now, but if I cant get on here I have no excuse to not do h******k Boo Hoo. ps. David just added that he is going to blame Dodo if he has to put up with a grumpy female due to not getting her daily Wattle fix pmsl. Cheers Sue |

What a wonderful day . . . That old wattle magic was out in full force in Canungra today - I am so blessed at the friends I have made on this thread. Met Jilly for the first time - just as lovely as I thought she would be, felt like I had known her forever. Anna made the long trip to join us, a lovely suprise, Suzy Q, who hasn't been well made it, Pam drove all the way from Bribie Island and the Queen and Graeme came over from the coast. Honest injins the Pav was a gift from the chef . . . no intervention . . . he made the gesture all on his lonesome!! We even managed to talk genealogy Thanks all for a lovely day - Ray mentioned as we were leaving how amazing it is to have made such great friends from an internet site - I couldn't agree more! See all cept Trifley have reported in - (but pickles have arrived so she must be home also) . . . glad your all home safe and sound. After we left Canungra we drove over the other side of Brisbane to Glen's place to pick up our mower and edge trimmer to get some gardening done tomorrow, he and Nell had done a heap of jobs on the yard over there yesterday, good to see the offspring getting on with it! Will go send off the pickles and catch you all later cheers luv Laurie |

Evening all Wattlers Had the bestest of days at the Canungra rissole. Good friends, wonderful company. And the food wasn't bad either. What more can you ask for. Did have one cheeky pole dancer. Too many martinoonies............. Lew, thank you so much for the Mudgee info. Arrived today while I was out lunching so will read it soon (when I have finished here). Mary, has John's results come through yet ? Here's hoping you may now find out what is wrong. Are you really sure you have rosemary ? Some one today was going to did up some tomato plants at the Outpost - no names mentioned. I thought we might send a plant down to Tony. But then again were they really tomato plants ????? lol Cilla, how did your results go ? Lara, I tried quite a few time to access Origins too, but couldn't connect. You over your craft moment yet ? or what was it you were guzzling. Tassie is everything packed apart from what you need on a day to day basis ? Puddy tat.....what no more number pinching for a couple of months. What will we do lol Any particular puddy tat food you require apart from chockie, like tuna, sardines, liver, kidney or maybe even nice fresh fish, crab and prawns like my puddy tat loves. Flakey, did the plane trip over the canyon. Not a happy flier at anytime, especially in small planes. Only did it for my daughter as it was the one thing she wanted to do in Vegas. I survived - just. But it was well worth it !!!! Sounds like they went up the Stratosphere. Wonderful view especially at night, so pretty. Well done with your footy tipping ... Jill, thanks for that addy - haven't looked yet. Time for a chardy Pam |

Hi di Hi, I'm home too, TLR led the way for me to the Mt.Lindsey hgwy so I didn't get lost coming home, wasn't that nice, We had a great lunch, as usual we all spoke at once and all the time, couldn't tell you what I ate, chicken I think and then they brought us out a pavlova each, mmm wonder who organised that? I took my camera but found the battery to be flat, forgot I'd let the girls use it on the weekend, never mind lots of piccies were taken by the others. We were very well behaved, oh! except for Trifley, evidence will be shown, it's all on film, lol. Thanks guys for a lovely day. Pam here is the addy for the photos page type it into your browser. usual thing ignore the brackets. http://groups(.)msn(.)com/GCPhotospage/_tools(.)msnw good luck, Had a quick sqiwzee at the earlier msg. will go back now and reread, see you later, The puddytat still seems to be around but has Lems been given a holiday again? can't make it out. luv Jillx |

Boy, Vonny, the Mudgee Meet is getting sooo big that I wouldn't be surprised if Ben Hur actually showed up, lol. Have had a couple of texts of Laurie and they sound like they've had a wonderful time. Vonny, I didn't think you want to know what Cat did. It all had to do with posting definitions of certain words on the threads, lol. Naughty Puddy. Flakey, I've done that flight over the Grand Canyon and it's amazing! Glad your girls are having fun. Hope you have a nice nanna nap, SuzyQ and that you've purchased the winning ticket. I'll buy the additional one on Friday and put the rest of Wattie's winnings aside for a big draw. Love to you all, you crazy lot Lew Lew xxx |

Mary, you do know the difference between Rosemary and other errrhmm weeds don't you???? hee hee OK, someone enlighten me. Why is our lovely resident wattle cat who pinches numbers, going on a 'holiday' ?? You better send me a pm or email if its that bad! lol Isn't it funny. I thought my family was the only one who pronounced it Rissole!! Mini-meet sounds as if it was a huge success. Mudgee sounds like it will be bigger than Ben Hur - oh what fun. ~~~~~~~ to all Vonny |
