Arvo Wattlers Thank you for the piccies you all look great -though I'm jealous of all the nice weather you had, its been raining solid here until about 1.00pm but soooo good for the garden. Bit chilly with it after the touch of spring days we had. Jood didn't pick a good time to visit - brrr. Nice to hibernate inside on a day like this. Well I didn't get much painting or floor laying done, spent my time playing in the dirt - lol. The cottage now has 1/2 a front garden have done the beds along the front of the verandah - put in some lavender and aquilegia - they don't mind not getting a lot to drink, but then couldn't resist some pansies, viola, hollyhocks and alyssium, mulched the lot and gave them a big drink to last them until Saturday ( fingers XXXX) Ken said I should have just given the money to the Nursery and not worried about actually planting anything - darn pessimist! Ken spent most of Sunday adjusting the kitchen drawers and cupboards (perfectionist - probably measured the gaps!) putting in the lazy susan in the corner cupboard ( put in upside first off - lol - he had never seen one before -) and the slide out bins for under the sink. Now we are just waiting on the kitchen mob to resize an overhead cupboard (their mistake) and the plumber is coming Monday and we will finally have a working kitchen after 3 months - woohooo!!! Gwenda you must be getting sooo excited not long now. Pam have sent your key ring today - look out for the postie. Have to go be back later jude 3

HI guys, Well its back to the drawing board with OH.. He has a disk in his neck (spine) which is out a bit and that could be causing the trouble so its off to a special physio who specialises in this sort of thing and get his opinion before they try something else..If that is the cause it can be corrected with a small op, so will just have to wait and see.Fingers crossed... Trifle How are you mate..hope you dont have a bad reaction..some peeps feel a bit sick for a little while after the treatment..then come good...xxxOOOxxx Lara. Have diddled about reading some interesting and not so interesting stuff. Finally decided its about time to get my bum into gear and go to the learning institution. Looks like rain, but it could be just tricking. Nearly forgot, all those who committed to www, time to confess - have you *lost weight, * tried hard to stay on the straight and narrow (martoonies must be part of the wattlers constitution , so not included) or *increased your daily body movement. If not, please think of a extremely creative excuse I'm first - I own up to one pms mars bar, no time for wine. had home made pizzas did not buy fish and chips. Hello to all, beautiful sunny day here been doing loads of washing didn't do much h--k yesterday now why was that? oh yes, went out to lunch and met up with some wonderful peeps, thanks for the pickles Anna, Laurie and Trifley. Hi all :) Been to a special morning tea for two of my students who are returning to Korea and then on to Thailand, China and eventually Tibet. They are really amazing people. Grey day today - it's trying to rain but only a drizzle so far. The blossoms are just spectactular around town at the moment - our nectarine, apricot and peach trees are a picture. Although the parrots are making a mess of the apricot blossoms, nipping them all off. I'm not impressed as I love apricots most of all, but am allergic to the sulphur based preservative used on the dried fruit so can only eat them fresh! off to see what's on general ~~~~~~~~~ Vonny Special~~~~~~~~~ to Wilson :)

Hi Everyone, Immmmm Baaaaack !!!!!!, I have missed reading the wattle dust for three weeks. So have only read back a few pages, why is it that when you are at work, you think you will have sooo much time to do this and that when you are on holidays... then when you are on holidays, there is no time to do anything lol. I have been madly tripping about from WA to QLD in the last month or so and havn't been still for a moment. Arrived home a couple of days ago, and now am in Melb baby sitting grandy for three days. I had great plans to catch up with other wattlers here and there, but didn't get the chance, I have spent a lot of time with no phone and no transport. Now i realise how hooked on modern technology i am lol. Two more weeks until i go back to work YUK, i think i have taken too long off and could easily retire now.....if only my purse would let me lol. Hopefully i will be able to catch up on all the news over the next few days, hope everyone who is having tests, get good results, and anyone who is unwell, feels better soon. Take Care Wilson

Morning all. lovely day today but it is supposed to come to an end this aternoon OH has gone off to see the quack but his results didnt come..Hope the doc can ring through and get the results that way.. Heather Arnt you glad your daughter hasent taken up the pipes... OH the practising is the worst part.. They're predicting some for Mudgee too, so keep your fingers crossed. Tony, we have some fantastic art galleries in Mudgee. It's a bit of an artists haven. Terry and I used to have a gallery in the back of an old butcher shop. It was called 'The Butchers Hook' and we held lots of exhibitions. Pleased to hear your other 'painting' is coming along nicely. Great to chat with all you waffling Wattlers at Canungra yesterday and what a lovely surprise that Anna showed up. Sorry I couldn't make it, but it wouldn't be a surprise if I showed up for every Meet would it! SuzyQ, you just take care of yourself and make sure that our Neville waits on you hand and foot. Tassie Sue Happy moving day when it comes, you sound organized. Yesterday our pc wouldent boot up, had power to it but no action, we have a Del pc so rang them on their freecall number in Malayasia and they talked us through what the problem could be. To say our pc is out of warranty they were so helpful and did fix the problem, saved money having to ring a technician, and what it is was the memory part had come loose inside the large box(if you know what I mean) Well am still in night clothes at this hour of the morning, will never do lol so had better get a move on Will see you all later cheers everybody Sandra in the Gong

G'Morning Wattlers, Fantastic pickles everyone - obviously all had a lovely lovely time eating and the entertainment looked superb Trifley!! Raining here yipee. Had nice Father's Day weekend full of people in the house, I got to meet more parents of DD's friends - coffee's and cuppas all weekend as they dropped off or picked up kids. Gave OH strawberry plants and last night he made a big frame to grow them under. DD15 got into the Pipe Band ! She drums a tenor drum - I've never seen her actually do the twirly bits with the drumsticks so that will be a thrill at the next event. Uniform is hired out by the school for a nominal charge thank heavens, all that tartan! Counting down now till DD15 leaves for Japan - seriously small suitcase going, so have to think carefully about wardrobe. Congrats Lara on becoming a Great Aunt to Alicia ! Terrible shock about Steve Irwin, very sad for his young family. Better get the day going in this house, did I say it's raining - still !! ~~~~~ Hz in Albury

Evening Wattlers. Lew. Thanks for the info on Mudgee. I will be interested at having a look at many of the Art Galleries, among other things. Thanks for the Pickles that peeps sent. Looks like everyone had a great time, and a finer bunch a good lookin sheila's you wont find anywhere. Trifley, did you eventually rip that pole out of its foundations?? Congrats, Great Aunty Lara.and welcolm into the world Alicia Carole. Been flat out like a lizard drinking, and painting is finished. Walls are 'Apollo Bay' and Cornices, Picture railing, Skirting Door frame to Ensuite are 'Upsteam' ...Cool colors......very beach effect. A 6ft x 1ft enlarged Photo in a frame will hang above our bed head, of one of our Holidays on either Hamilton or Hayman Island.. ( When i build the Bed of course...lol ) that i am having enlaged.
