Hi Wattlers, Boy have you lot waffled since we started again - at this rate we will pass our previous thread before 4 months pass. When I caught up this morning we were up to 62 messages and now we heading into the first 100. Tony & Barb - Thinking of you at this sad time. Welcome to Lew Lew & Elizabeth - hope you survived your 12-hour shift. Tassie - hope you coped with the tight butts & shorts - hope you weren't drooling too much. When it comes to drinking 8 glasses of water this is what I did - starting at 9 am I pour a glass and have an hour to drink it and do that on the hour until I have had my 8. Hi to everyone else - got a load of washing to do and get some tea so I'd better get a move on. Catch you all later, Gwenda |

Hi Wattlers, Old and new, I am really glad were all back, thanks Lara. Yesterday, just as I was worrying about you all, Neville came in and said, 'get ready we're going out'. He didn't have to ask twice. We went down on to the broadwater had a nice walk with the dog and then had some yummy fish and chips. There was a strong breeze and clouds. The coolest we have been in 3 months. It was very invigorating. Tony please give Barb a big hug for me, it's terrible losing a parent. I am having troubles with my puta, it is getting very slow. I keep praying for Broadband, but I think we are the last on the list. I hope they never sell Telstra. If they do us country folk will be forgotten. Today has been very busy. Shopping this morning and the rack this afternoon. I am now trying to get the chook food ready whilst writing this. I will be back tomorrow, Happy New Wattle thread everybody. Hip Hip Hooray Love SuzyQ |

Afternoon wattlers, thought it was such a good idea to have carpets cleaned today until I got home after work and took one look at the curtains and nearly had a fit. How come they looked ok with furniture in the room but now look really dirty. SO down they came and into the machine then of course I had to wash the windows didn't I . Just finished putting everything back together and it looks really nice but I guess that will only last til someone sprawls over the couch and starts spreading stuff around the room again...... Maybe I can ban that room just for tonight...nope the telly is in there that wont work..aw well it was clean for a while....sigh |

Hi Wattlers Well I survived the footy clinic I think. Mmm just watch out all you other teams they looked pretty good, with their skills I mean lol. Anyway this thread has been going for a day and nearly 100 messages, so all we have to do is keep talking like this and by the end of the month we should be nearly back where we was on the old thread. Cheers Sue |

Afternoon Wattlers, good grief I leave you lot alone for four days and you create havoc! I nearly had a fit when I saw altered thread name and only 90 odd replies. The heart did a flutter!! Of course always panic and then think logically. Finally had a chance to catch up on your news, condolences to Tony and Barb in this difficult time. Hello to our new contributors - welcome to the mad house. Hi to Jude and Jude. Sorry this has to be short, but we have been soooo busy! jude 3 |

Hi Elizabeth, welcome to the wattlers. You'll be in good company :) Laurie, thanks for the parish site. I have added it to favourites for future reference. I'm having enough trouble hunting down the Aussie ones. I've got most of them back to late 1700's so suppose I'll have to make the big leap soon!!!!! Vonny LewLew: Upper Botobolar wasn't that appealing then, believe me. We still ended up out in the sticks at the top of a mountain but at least the house wasn't made of mud!! |

Hi Anna Yes I am sticking to the diet. It seems funny eating 4 small meals when I am used to only eating 1 main meal most days. I am having low fat milk and frutcose instead of sugar and even Coke Zero which has no sugar, I can cope with all that but still battling with water. I have done what I think Laurie mentioned and put a slice of lemon in it and I am managing to have about 4 glasses instead of 6-8 glasses but I suppose some is better than none and I may gradually build on that amount. Off to cook the BBQ for the ones that come to see the players. And try and keep the blood pressure down he he Laurie Thats good then cause I'd hate to think she lost us while she was away, althought I,m sure she would find us again, I also forgot about Leah, have to check names to see if there is anyone else. Cheers Sue |
