Oh Sue, you are a disappointment to me!!! lol. Mudgee is 260km north east of Sydney on the beautiful Central Tablelands. Sorry you're not feeling well. Perhaps a stiff drink, for medicinal purposes only, of course. Lew Lew xxx |

Hi All Just checking in briefly as not too good at moment, nothing bad just feel s**t started with a sore throat the other day and yesterday I had no energy and couldnt get interested in anything. Probably just some bug going around. I cant remember who asked about Tamika and how she was after the MS Fest. Yesterday she just mopped around the house and really wasnt herself, spent most of the day just laying around. But today she is more her old self. Recons she wont go to another concert, but as I said the concert is ok just maybe keep away from the mosh pit. I think she may have also been suffering a bit of heat stroke. My other Daughter Dannielle came through it without a worry, I heard that when things got tight and they was trying to get out she just got her Redhead firey temper going and started swinging her arms around and yelling, people soon moved to let her out lol. Some people must of had fun as when cleaners was cleaning up they found heaps of thongs and also a couple of pairs of jeans, mmm I know it was warm, but that warm pmsl. I wont be at the June meetup as Footy is in town so I will be busy with that, not sure about Mudgee???? Where is it?? I may be able to work something out, fingers crossed. Well I am going to veg out again to try and build up the want to eat tea. I hope everyone is well. Catch you Later. Cheers Sue |

Hi Rebs 17th June sounds great to me. I'm thinking of staying in a pub near Southbank. I like to treat myself occasionally and have room service and leave wet towels all over the floor and not make the bed so I think a pub is better for me ha ha. Your daughter sounds as if she takes after her mother with the amazing names :o). Why couldn't our ancestors have had names like that? It would have been fun to track them down. Trifley |

Okay, looking at the calender how does Sat 17th June sound for a Brissie/Qld meet? That's the weekend before the school holidays start. Southbank sounds good to me because of it's central location. Let me know thoughts on the date, venue etc. And I'd be happy to kick the family out for a night if peeps need somewhere to stay overnight. lol!! Trifley, Purple monkey dishwasher is actually my girls name. She uses it for her email addy. lol!! I'm PMDW's Mum. pmsl!! Rebs x |

Afternoon wafflers I suppose you are all full from eating lunch are you? Mongrels.......I hope your chooks turn into emus and kick your dunny down! I am having a glass of juice and a lemonade ice block for MY lunch :((( Still.....I have tomorrow nights dinner to look forward to. My nephew has promised me some prawns and I might just wash them down with a glass of unwooded charddy :o))). The thought of that is the only thing that's keeping me going. Hi Rebs.....Lara is right about your husband and the shopping being a ploy. I have used the same tactics myself on occasion. Hence I have not made white sauce from scratch for some years ha ha. I have managed to understand your name changes in the 'corner' ....but....'purple monkey dishwasher' the mind boggles!! A Brissie meet up in June??? Yayyyy :o))) I'll be there! {Trifley runs out of room to get accommodation directory. Limps back, panting.} Rebs..... let me know if there is one pub better than another to stay in. I can give someone a lift from the Gold Coast if they need it. Just pm me and we'll organise things. Let me see....how much weight can I lose in 2 1/2 months????? {Trots off to look for calculater} Fred.... luv your accent too mate. It took me awhile to get used to it but it's fine now hee heee :o) Hi Sandra in the 'Gong. I bet our Pommie friends are wondering where the hell that is in Oz. They wont find it in any atlas ha ha. I know what you mean about the hot matches. I have sent off messages to a lot of people in the last 6 weeks and have only had 3 replys. One HM who has 3 of my hubby's rels hasn't answered the 4 messages I've sent ....most annoying :( The joys of climbing the 'tree'. SuzyQ ...hellooooo...where the bl***y hell are youoooo? Let me know if you are thinking of going to the meet in Brissie. Donna was the water going over the spillway at the Hinze? I haven't had a chance to go up there yet, perhaps after tomorrow. If there is a lot of water there perhaps we could send some up to Brisbane....stop Campbell Newman (Brissie Mayor) from whingeing so much. It's time I had some more fluids so I'll see y'all later. Big hugs and waves to all the other Wattlers. Our 'little group is getting so big it is hard to mention everyone. Have a great arvo' everyone. luv Trifley |

It's baaaaack!!!!! hey guess what?? I have a copy of a portrait of my GGGG Grandmother Georgiana Partridge, artist John Partidge. Since Georgianas father is named John, we assume he is the artist. A rellie in Perth has just found a London artist John Partridge from that era who was portrait artist to Queen Victoria. He was born in Glasgow (explains why I've been unable to his birth in London) and he and his family lived in Grosvenor Square. Georgiana married into the Steains family who were big in the London stock exchange, so it's quite possible I've found my 5x g grandfather. Woohoo!!! |
