Stone the crows!! I can't keep up with you lot! Yackety, yackety yackety yak!! Just wanted to throw my two bob's worth in about the meet ups. Rebs - South Bank sounds wonderful. June 17th is fine with me but we have to wait to see when Laurie is going to be back in Qld. Mudgee - sounds like a great idea Lew. I'm not sure what the best way of getting there from Qld is. Obviously if I drove, it would be via Dubbo. Don't know what the bus or plane situation is. I wouldn't want to drive by myself but perhaps we could arrange for some of us Queenslanders to drive together. Worth thinking about guys. Could you please save me a space on the floor for a sleeping bag Lew. I'm housetrained! I'm feeling a bit down tonight - my first husband's mother who I have remained good friends with over the years has the big C diagnosis. Only confirmed last Friday and she is having surgery in Brisbane tomorrow. She's 83 and has previously had blood clots so she is so worried the poor darling. Please send some positive thoughts her way. Devly - hope you are feeling better - you must have caught my cold!! Puts a whole new slant on computer viruses! Night all Anna

Hi all Just popped in to see what everyone is up to. Don't seem to have much time to spend on the puter these days still sorting out the new house plus when we moved we lost our broadband so it is back to the old dial up which is soooooo slow it takes forever to just log on now. When & where is the Brissie meet up as I am coming me thinks I can see my sister at the same time. Excuse me for a moment while I send the cat & dog to the naughty corner they are running around the house playing chasings & driving me nuts. I hope all the rain is getting to where you all want it & if not you can have ours everytime I put washing out lately down it comes so if you want it it is yours. I loved the Partridge family when they were on TV. Are you related to them, Rebs? Heeeee :P) Have you tried to get onto the art gallery website? They might have more info or a 'contact us' where you could ask a few questions. Otherwise go the other way and try to get info on his brother, the surgeon. There might be something there which would lead you back to the artist. Good luck. Uuugghh another ice block and another glass of water! Yeah, been doing that all morning,- nothing getting done here today, lol- but I can only find bits and snippets. I need to be able to find a bio or something that perhaps will give details such as family members names. I'm probably way off base here, but you don't often find something like this in your tree, so I want to follow through to find out if this john Partridge is mine. *Rebs really wants to share (and gloat) info with MIL*

OOh, hope you are feeling better soon Devley. Hey if this John Partidge is the father of Georgiana, I've hit paydirt. He has work hanging in the London Art Gallery and London Museum, including a self protrait of his family and himself in his drawing room. One of the girls in the portrait could easily be Georgiana. His brother Richard was head surgeon at Kings College Hospital. How many John Partridges-artist can there be? Any one have any ideas how I can find out more about the artist??? I really need to follow this up as much as I can. Rebs x
