Just had to share this one . . . An old lady was standing at the rail of the cruise ship holding her hat so that it wouldn't blow away in the wind. A gentleman approached her and said, 'Pardon me, madam. I do not intend to be forward but did you know that your dress is blowing up in this wind?' 'Yes, I know,' said the lady. 'But I need my hands to hold onto my hat.' 'But madam, he said, 'you must know that you're derriere is exposed!' The woman looked down, then back up at the man and said, 'Sir, anything you see down there is 85 years old, but I just bought this hat yesterday!' pmsl luv Laurie

Good Afternoon, Everyone sound to be cold and busy. Lara I hope that you get fixed up soon, we don't want the men in white coats to come hauling you away with withdrawal syptoms now do we. Are you back down to earth now Tony. Planing your holiday in Hamilton Island now. Lew did you get your new juicer and a big bag of oranges. Just what Terry needs for his cold. Vonny I hope you got home without too much fuss. We will expect a full travelogue, Tony style, after a good nights sleep. Mary, can you bear to part with even justone book. I love books even the one I didn't enjoy. There is something about the feel of them even the smell when they get old.. At the moment I am reading Lauren Bacal's biography. It is very interesting. Another book you all might like is called Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. Its a novel all about the building of churches in the 12th century. A thick book but I couldn't put it down. Now what I want to know, do I need a tarara on Thursday. Will the boys be in attendence, just Nefer will do, to carry the drinks etc. Rebs are you coming. Well i think it is time to go. Sorry if I have forgotten anyone, back tomorrow Luv SuzyQ

Afternoon from Sunny but Cold Mudgee. SuzyQ, I just bought one of those cheap little Kambrook citrus juicers and lots of oranges. I'll try it out in the morning. Ooo, Laurie, not long now and you'll be winging your way to Jakarta. Don't forget to wave when you fly over. You should be able to recognise our place by the lap pool. Boy, you lot are going to have fun at the GC Meet. Who's going? No, Trifley, don't take Nefer. All those girls could damage him! Well, I'm off to read for a while. Lew Lew xxx

Evening Wattlers, Have been really busy and not much time on here, Laurie sorry to hear of your brush with a car, there is a line from an Elvis song 'All shook up' but seriously tho thank goodness it wasen't more serious. Have a great trip on Wed . Tony love the travelogue and had a look at the pics, I only spent 1 day in Paris about 8 years ago, did the Eurostar and then my neice took me on a whistle stop tour by metro from one sightseeing place to the other, but it was enjoyable, she had been lots of times so knew her way around. hope everyone is well and keeping warm, has been a lovely day in the Gong today but cold once the sun goes down We do not have an internal burner in out PC so bought an external one from computor fair, all ok decided to export gedcom file fron genes into PAF and then I thought would back it up onto a disc, followed all intructions but no it dident happen, anyone have any ideas about that ??????? Tassie hope your teeth problem is sorted out soon, poor you I hate the dentist as most of us I think. Off to cook some dinner so catch you next time Sandra in the Gong

Evening all, Just reading through your messages, I must be the only one who can cope with dentists. .. No way in hell would I ever have false teeth. .. Have had some horrible things done though, but my pain tolerance is high .. Having had 3 kids and at least 8 ops - nothing fazes me - to date, anyway! Having said that, I hope all goes well for you Tassie. Thanks cat, in advance for the email. Mary - how's the packing going? .. You must be losing sooo much weight with all this extra activity. Brissie girls - hope your lunch date goes well, don't forget the pickles. Jood

Hello Waffling Wattlers Had a wonderful lunch today with my brother, SIL, 2 nieces,1 gt. nephew and 2 gt. gt. nieces. It was great to see 4 generations of family enjoying fun, laughter and friendship. This is one reason I do FH, so the younger members of the tribe can get to know their wonderful ancesters. Tony....thanks for the Lotto list. I think a couple of our new Wattlers wanted to join....from memory it was Little Duck and Jill. I've given them a list of the requirements to qualify.....police criminal checks, referrences from 3 people who've known them for 50 years and finger prints to be sent to interpol. They seem like nice peeps so I'm sure they will pass our stringent tests.....lol I'm having the biopsy tomorrow so I might not be on here. I don't know how long it will take for the path results to come back.....hopefully only a few days. I don't think I could handle it if it was too long. Sleep well my friends and I'll check in later. love Trifley X
