Funny thing happened to me. .. Picked up my mail on Friday and left it in the car - only noticed it today. .. Thought - oh oh - its a window envelope - is it a parking fine, a bill, something from the pension dept?? ........... anyway it was from NRMA - I thought - what have I done??? Praise be, it was a cheque for $47.23 and it included $2.20 stamp duty, $4.00 GST and $1.01 interest. Apparently they hadn't noticed that I had both a car insurance and house insurance with them, whereupon you get a discount. .. Silly me hadn't noticed either. .. Apologies from them - unbelievable!!! .. Nice surprise too! Lew I meant to ask you - in your tidy (very tidy) computer room, is that a dick'n mary you have on the desk (dictionary) Jood |
