OMG Tassie - couldn't cope with your loss. Had a Nanna nap - too many chardies - and just in time to see the LIONS win - cannot believe I missed most of their match. Oh well, will finallly watch the tennis- son not working tomorrow, dont have to get him to work in the morn. Hewitt playing soon. Oh no Trifley, not the fishes. Don't want to see them disadvantaged Vonney - Don't think I really want to know about atlantic blue !! Have a great trip and drink lots of coke. Evening All So sad the news on June, I have left messages on her thread before, and did leave 3 for the month of July, It would be nice to see someone take on the task in memory of June. Pam I have drowned my sorrows, now watching V8's Lowndes is trying hard to get to 3rd spot, Go Ford, Oh congrats on the Lions winning Ugh did I say that??? Must be tired lol. hi, can't sleep so I thought I would add a joke you gals should appreciate after all the partying you have been doing. Since I type so slow I might finish in time for everyone to read in the morning. why females should avoid a girls night out after they get married..................... the other night I was invited out for a night with 'the girls' I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, 'I promise!' Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easy. Around 3 am, a bit worse for wear I headed home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and cuckooed 3 times. Quickly, realising hubby would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times. I was really proud of myself for comimg up with such a quick witted solution in order to avoid a possible conflict with him. (Even when totally smashed...3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos total 12 cuckoos = midnight1) The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, and I told him, 'midnight'. He didn't seem concerned at all. Whew! Got away with that one! Then he said, 'We need a new cuckoo clock.' When I asked him why, he said; Well last night our cuckoo clock cuckooed 3 times, then said 'oh sh*t', cuckooed 4 more times, cleared it's throat, cuckooed another 3 times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, then tripped over the coffee table and f*rted' (hope I haven't offended anyone) Louisa :) |
