I had a look at the 1901 census and there are 60 with my married name ages ranging from 5 months to 74 years........ I was so surprised. None with my maiden name but it was an unusal one, married name is a more common one. May have a look at the 1891 next time. Love and Peace Marianne.x

17 of me in my birth name in 1901 census 10 of me in my post adoption name- one born in 1829 -still working as a draper with 4 assistants! None in my married name - but it is unusual

well I never!! There is a Glory as head in 1901 and wife Eliza. First time I heard of a male called Glory Unless they were the first official gay couple on the census.

:-( No I'm not on any census but on ancestry there is one other person with the same name as me but she died when she was 40 in 1989 - I've seen her on here too. Penny

None with my exact spelling, but on the 1881 census there are 14 'variants' returned.

Oh dear, I feel as common as muck !! With my present name I appear 84 times on the 1901 census and with my maiden name a mammoth 201 times !!

tried hubbys and it said too many to list always knew he was common lol typed in place to be born, and found among list 19 year old dorset gunner in artillery even spookier, as he has been that and dorset my fav place,
