Yes I am and I have been since I was 7. Most of my mum's imediate family is as my cousin has had 2 kidney transplants in his life. - the first when he was 4 and the second last christmas aged 20.

Don't forget folks - you can have a donor card but ultimately the decision is that of your next of kin.

see another reason why there should be no smoking..what if someone really needed an organ and they were all mingy smokers' ones? sorry I was trying out my scare tactics that I use to try and persuade people to quit

Lucia you made me giggle BUT I did say 'they can take whatever they can use' - I know my liver will be pickled by then so probably they'll leave that alone and the lungs won't be touched but they can have other bits if they want!! :O)
