We have just had to have our 16 year old cat holly put to sleep, she had a growth on her thyroid and kidney problems. fortunately she has not been in pain but got very thin and was coughing and drinking a lot, and sleeping all day. She would probably have gone on for another 4 months but would have deteriorated and neither of us wanted that. But we are both so sad, the house seems empty without her, even though she spent all her time asleep. We will miss her so much. Rest in peace holly. ann Glos
