Have had a few disasters in the past with pancakes (sticking to bottom, breaking, kitchen filled with smoke etc.). Bought idiot-proof mix this year - powder comes in bottle to which you add the liquid then shake up and down. If they survive, we will have lemon and sugar on them. Janet x :)

mm aye vodka would be nice in them Jill lol.My 8 yr old hates pancakes but my 7 yr old decided last week that he loves them and what Ryan wants ,he gets lol.He likes them freshly made every morning with golden syrup,rolled up,and cut in to 6 pieces so he can eat em with a fork.as for me ...I dont like them lmao Anna x

if my eldest was still living here he would have grated chocolate and fresh double cream. me i prefer just lemon juice and a light sprinkle of sugar we have pancakes all year round they are delissssssssh happy eating folks tomorrow. best wishes wendy

I will be cooking pan cakes for 8 at work tomorrow. I'm thinking of wrapping them around a pureed fruit salad then covering them with cream.
