what is the word (or the symbol) that means the 'mean' ? add the three together and devide by the number of numbers.similar to average -is it ~

erm - its the one thast sprang immediately to mind. otherwise you nee dto be looking at subtraction or division - and there's nothing that looks obvious that I can see

put one of these '/' through the equals sign so it reads (in algebra speak) 101011 'is not equal to' 10.5
