Anne, I've been peri menopausal since 37 (7 years). It's in my genes by the looks of it, Mum and Nana had the same. Months become 2 weeks, hot flushes becoming far too frequent, moods horrendous and headaches hideous. Apart from that it's no problem! Daisy

I have always understood that the earlier you 'started' the earlier the menopause was, but dont quote me. Like many on here, Anne, I had little or no problems, in fact I think the more you read the more you get! Have your oestrogen levels checked out at your family clinic, and then you will know for sure. Thus armed, then choose whatever it takes so you feel 'normal' again. Good luck...XX BC

All over and done with by the time I was 50 and my only symptom was the occasion 'flood' without notice. ost inconvenient at times !! Other than that, no hot flushes or anything.... and very grateful I was too !!

Mmmmmmm, You've got me thinking, was that why I woke up last night drenched? Didn't put two and two together then, even asked my husband if he was feeling warm! I'm 52 and am still waiting for the signs, perhaps this was it, I'm so pleased to hear of people who it passed by, perhaps that could be me too. Suex
