My daughter sings 'baa baa black sheep' and 'baa baa white sheep' at her nursery... The nursery is very multicultural and if there is a festival comming up for any religin the children are taught about it... Baa baa white sheep standing over there, watching all the nanny goats going to the fair white shoes and white curly hair, see all the nanny goats going to the fair'... Lou xxx

I'd heard about the whiteboards before but tell me, does any school have the old style blackboard these days? Slightly out of touch with schools for the last ***** years!! LOL. I'm reading about the rhyme here and historians believe it relates to the tax collected on black wool being lower than the that collected on white wool. Does that also mean I can't go looking for all those black sheep in my family any more? :-(((((

A nursery school in Oxford has banned the word 'black' from a nursery rhyme. The kids now have to sing - Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep - Has anyone ever sighted one of these sheep please?
