Don't get me started on this one!!!!!!!! I'm the best source of entertainment at the moment........even have to laugh at myself, though some days........can get very frustrated with myself. It's the 'short term memory' that lets you down so much. I have been known to comment that one day I would go out and not be able to find my way home again! Lin xx

Morning everyone and thank you for your replies. This is something that is really worrying me. OK I expected it to start in another few years, and creep up on me gradually throughout the ageing process. But not as severe, so soon after I realised my memory was starting to deteriorate. Please keep your replies coming, I shall take onboard all suggestions. Jenny xx

Im the same, and it really genuinely worries me. Last night on the records board there was someone who just wasnt making any sense to me at all and I was seriously worried I couldnt fathom it because of my brain! Luckily it turned out no one could. I cant remember names, it drives me crazy when mates on here change them, cos I get totally flummoxed who I am talking to. And then there are the pms 'Thanks Heather and can you tell me where you got that info' I cant for the life of me remember what info Ive given???

The unmemorable man agrees entirely, as you get older these things are sent to try us all. I get up to go to another room and when i get there i have forgotten what i was going there for. Put things away in a safe place and forget where the safe place is and are unable to find things again. The Memory Man.

Is it something that comes to us all when we reach 50 years? My memory has deteriorated terribly over the last year. I get folks on here mixed up, forget what I have talked to them about, and worst of all when listening to Daughter it seems to go in one ear and out the other. Then all I get is 'Mam I told you yesturday I would be going straight out after college' Or when talking to others Daughters on the phone they will say ' Mam you told me that three days ago' I also say I will do something and totally forget all about it.... Please accept my apologises, those that have experienced my forgetfulness. Jenny xx
