Dave, yes I will try and get a copy then and since it is 'very simple' even I should be able to read it lol It annoys me because I have to read so many set texts for English and not anything I want to lol

I've read 'Reasons to be cheerful', 'Not a runner bean' and 'Vive la revolution' by Mark Steel. I really enjoyed his lecture series on tv too. Emma is my favourite Jane Asuten novel, though I do like them all. But I like a lot of classics. Also 'Brother of the More Famous Jack' by Barbara Trapido and 'Nice Work' by David Lodge, which are two modern novels I've read about 3 times. Non-fiction - I enjoyed 'THe ghost disease and other medical mysteries'. nell

Is it good then Dave? My history teacher said it was good and I wondered what it was about. I don't really have a favourite book. I haven't read too many. At the moment I'm reading a book by Mark Steel. I think it's great - very witty. :-)
