in theory the best way to save water is only flush the loo when you have to (not just because there is urine in it! - not my Idea), share bath water (well we did it with the tin tub - and I remember doing this in the summer as a kid!) only wash clothes when they are dirty and wash by hand, use dirty washing/ dish water for the garden. Install water saving hippo thing in all loos. |

well sorry but as long as water runs...I will be showering or bathing...cos the other alternative is just not on...I don't wanna smell like a kipper :-) |

Ha they didn't think of that when they started to tell us all to lose weight ......... there will be more room in the bath for water if we're thinner!!!!!!!!! :-)))))))))))))) |

no but unless we all have a top 2 toe strip wash whats the alternative? the bath uses water by the gallon as does flushing the loo. |

that a shower uses 30 litres of water if it is on for five minutes? That means I waste 360 litres a day..wow! :-) |
