in theory the best way to save water is only flush the loo when you have to (not just because there is urine in it! - not my Idea), share bath water (well we did it with the tin tub - and I remember doing this in the summer as a kid!) only wash clothes when they are dirty and wash by hand, use dirty washing/ dish water for the garden. Install water saving hippo thing in all loos.

well sorry but as long as water runs...I will be showering or bathing...cos the other alternative is just not on...I don't wanna smell like a kipper :-)

Ha they didn't think of that when they started to tell us all to lose weight ......... there will be more room in the bath for water if we're thinner!!!!!!!!! :-))))))))))))))

no but unless we all have a top 2 toe strip wash whats the alternative? the bath uses water by the gallon as does flushing the loo.

that a shower uses 30 litres of water if it is on for five minutes? That means I waste 360 litres a day..wow! :-)
