Aaww thanks Julie Anne & Lunar :O)) Lunar - a baby was never in my life plan - but I have to admit that having been faced with the prospect these past few weeks - (yes weeks as I have already done a home test 4 weeks ago lol) - I have been kind of warming to the idea - last chance saloon kind of thing - still these things happen for a reason and in reality I am not really in a position to cope with having a child - ce la vie !!!!!!!! |

Anne, Is that good or bad news then??? So no baby on the way just now, well I blame stress and anxiety for the little hiccup, the human body responds to less stress sometime so we forget we are stressed. It's the knitting that does it, dropping that one little stich and then having to go back and sort it out!! I'm sure you would have made a fabulous mammy to a very lucky child Anne! LT xx |

UPDATE ................ OK - my GP being the efficient GP he is, want's to rule out the most obvious possibility for my 'no show' .......... so I left clutching the obligatory sample bottle LOL (result Tuesday) His opinion is that I am not premenopausal cos I am too young !!! Should have told him my Gt Gran gave birth at 37 and went straight into menopause lolol Anyway - the other possibility is that the Progesterone only pill that I had been taking (newly prescribed 3 months ago) has most likely surpressed my normal cycle. If the 'test' comes back negative (fingers crossed) then he wants to wait until the end of April - if still no show by then, he will progress with further tests :O))) So - it's watch this space as they say ........... Many thanks again for all the comments, advice etc xxx |

You must get checked out at the docs but take a look at your diet. Drink lots of water, so many people are permantly dehydrated. Go buy yourself a juicer and drink as many vitamins as you can. Eat raw nuts etc. Your diet is not a cure but it does give your body the best chance of fighting. |

Hi Anne...don't know your age..40 something perhaps??? So it could be menopausal symptoms. Problem is, that your ovaries stop producing eggs regularly, and your pituitary gland (somewhere in your brain) keeps pumping out ever increasing amounts of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) to try and get the ovaries to respond. It is high levels of FSH that give rise to the horrid symptoms of the menopause...and a blood test can verify whether high levels are present. This is known as the peri-menopause. I remember feeling terrible for quite some time during this peri-menopausal period...(I didn't want to take HRT and I so I went cold turkey as it were)! The good news is that there IS life after the menopause..and you WILL get back to normal again... Best have everything checked out at the Doctor's so you know for sure what the cause is...sometimes even knowing helps! Hope you soon feel better xx A very happy post-menopausal... Dee x |
