Sorry to keep nudging this one forward but, again the latest batch of memories are very much worthy of acknowledgement. Glad to revive the happy memories, also glad in a way to relive the sad ones - keeps our feet on the ground perhaps. Best wishes Happy days

After having a bad pregnancy and having an emergency c-section, all was quite the baby was 2lb was she alive or dead? That first cry that came out of that tiny mouth and confirm she had made it. Called her Harley due to the fact that first cry sounded like a motorbike starting up in a other wise quite room. Lou

When my dad left home i was only a tot, i remember it and although i didnt feel like i was going through anything at the time i can remember how it really was now. I became very quiet, my stammer started and i picked all the skin off my hands. I remember them being red roar but i didnt know why (i was only 4). I remember my mum cuddling me and putting cream on my hands, she promised me that she will never leave me and we will be ok. I think thats the first time i can remember that feeling of needing someone so much and being so scared but her making that pain go for just a few minutes, ill never forget that. Blimey im crying now lol xx

Harry would really love to have the last time I spoke to my mother again so I could tell her how much I love her again and have one last cuddle with her . And also the first time I held and cuddled my three babies there is nothing like it ever the smell of them seeing their dear little faces for the first time , Then the same when I was there when my three grandchildren were born and having the first cuddle of each of them. love Lara

There is only one feeling in the world that I wish I could bottle and return to whenever I feel down....and that is the feeling of the very second I gave birth to my babies. Was the most wonderful experiences I've ever had and to be able to relive it (without the pain! lol) at any given moment would be fantastic....

There was one silly moment during the holiday I mentioned earlier - we were in a caravan and sat around the table one evening playing a game of cards. My brother got up slowly and whispered to my dad that there was someone outside the window looking in. They both rushed to the door , let the dog out who barked furiously, and just managed to see the man who was looking in run full pelt across the field only to run straight into someones washing line. He fell to the floor, scrambled up and kept on running. My father and brother just stood there laughing.

meeting my Polish grandmother and relatives for the first time. Dad had been through the concentration camps in WW11 and stayed in England after the war. It took him fifteen years to save up to take all of us over to Poland. When he held his mother, it was the first time I had ever seen him cry
