Try using half milk and water, instead of water by itself. Sharon xx

The pre mix packets from the supermarket are great, otherwise make sure you use strong bread flour, add the liquid first and add a small bit of crushed vitamin c.

Norah, what size loaf does yours make, mine does 2 x 1lb loaves.

two pound loaf water 1and a half cups skimmed milk powder 4tbsp sunflower oil 4 tbsp sugar 3 tbsp salt 2 tsp strong white flour 4 cups fast action yeast 1and quarter tsp use setting 1 basic Add in order listed Susan

You can also use the pre-mixed packets from the supermarket you just add water soooo simple. Come out right everytime.

Hi! All thanks but yes I use the recipe to the last detail . Son and Dil gave one to us and one to her mother and she has the same problem the bread is so heavy so was wondering if anyone had a recipe for extra light bread? otherwise it will end up at the back of the cupboard Norah

Got mine for Christmas 2 years ago and have used it 10 times at the most. I really should use it more cos the bread is luverly. I don't recall the recipes would have to dig out me little book.

Hi Norah, I have a bread machine & bread comes out lovely. Do you use proper flour. Put all liquids in 1st then dry ingrediants on top. Should be ok if you follow instructions. Keep trying. Hilary. x

did you not get a book with it- i think they are make specific recipies. mine always come out well, but I do the whole kaboodle in the machine Yummy too jess x

Has anyone got a really nice recipe for a breadmaker please got a present at Christmas of one but the bread comes out very heavy as for the rolls well enough said, they would knock you out if you were hit by them or do you have any tips getting desperate. Norah
