Loved the one he did with MArc Almond. How odd, I was looking at an advert for his forthcoming tour in this week's Mail on Sunday and thought how good he looked on the picture.

American superstar Gene Pitney has died at a Cardiff hotel, it has emerged. The 65-year-old American singer - found international fame with the Bacharach song Twenty Four Hours From Tulsa - was taken ill at the Hilton hotel just after 1000 BST on Wednesday. He was mid-way through a UK tour and had shown no signs of illness. (From BBC website)
