Manchester Tart is easy either make a flan base with shortcrust pastry or sometimes I buy the ready made ones . spread the bottom with jam of the flavour you like , Then cover it with custard a bit thicker than normal .Put it in the fridge to go cold and top with coconut or sometimes I put a cadburys flake crushed on the top yummy!!! Dave Make a sweet pastry base and bake it blind. Jam, and then whip cold custard with a little cream. Top custard with toasted coconut. Heaven Mau x |

Apple Strudel Raspberry Pavlova Sherry Trifle Spotted Dick and Custard Chocolate and Orange Gateau with fresh cream In fact I love most of them unfortunately that's why whenever I go out for a meal I always look at the dessert menu first then I know whether to have a filling first course or not so as to leave plenty of room. Greedy or what! Kath |
