.......pudding? I am in the middle of making myself a proper strawberry trifle, with homemade custard and a decent splash of sherry for tomorrow :-) I decided to make a huge one, so i may be generous and let the rest of the family have some ......and maybe i won't, lol . Yvette

Sticky toffee pudding, tiramasu, banoffie pie. My fav is all of them as I can not decide which I like the best.

Glad to see you treating yourself for your 40th Yvette, put an extra dollop of sherry in! :)) I love anything sweet, cakes or puddings! :)) I have made a note to buy Birthday drinks for you and Frances at the end of May! :)) oh and Baby Butterfly is expecting, so cause for another celebration! :)) Enjoy the trifle :))

ohh tiramisu and banoffi pie....more favourites!! then anything with chocolate in it.....but if it has to be just one...then it's real trifle everytime for me. Chris, will try not to put too much in as Adam may well eat some of it....will just have to drink the rest of it instead :-))

CREAM LOG 1packet choc chip cookies or ginger nuts 1 large carton double cream Dash vanilla essence 1small glass sherry Choc sprinkles or cherries to decorate Method. 1. The night before required-beat cream till stiff.and add vanilla essence. 2. Dip 1st biscuit in sherry -don`t soak , spread one side with cream and put on long plate upright(as if in packet again) 3. Continue with all the biscuits , sandwiching them together,and leave to set overnight.-use 1/2 of cream 4. Next day cover the log with remaining cream and decorate as wished. 5.When cutting cut on the diagonal.-not straight down 6. Lovely with pouring cream and fresh fruit
