Hi Dawnie, I'd write to the head and ask what he/she suggests your daughter wears to school until such time as the uniform ones are available. If you don't like the reply write to the chair of governors (enclosing copies of all letters so far) explaining your disatisfaction. Gwynne |

There used to be two shops supplying it but after one got a snotty letter from school saying they weren't their prefered choice the shop decided to stop doing it. Have found another shop that is prepared to do them and they even have their own embroidery machine so wouldn't be relying on suppliers but head wont have it. Can feel another complaint coming on. lol |

Mags Tried that site but don't do her schools. Blue I've got a navy fleece she can wear but she wont as she says she will be picked on. Would it be Governors before education department? |

I don't know what your school uniform sweater is like, but perhaps you can buy a suitably coloured one from Woolies. I guess the headmaster would do something if he felt it was an issue. You could raise this through the parents' association, perhaps? I don't suppose you are the only mum who is having problems. nell |

Eldest has no sweatshirt for school as the washing machine ate it. This happened two weeks before they broke up and went to the shop and didn't have any said was on order, next week still none so I wrote to the headmaster complaining that there was only one shop that did them and as they didn't have it didn't think it was very good. Daughter been going to school in just a polo shirt in that cold weather. Got letter saying they would only have them as the supplier as it benfitted school funds. Went in today to get another one for start of term guess what yep still don't have any and don't know exactly when they are coming in. What is my next step re complaining. |
