I think I might decree that the royal barge is a country and everyone from GR can be a citizen. Only people, tho' who don't like 'Neighbours' I can't stand that show! |

Hi Lyn Yes I ride my royal barge up & down the canals of the Gold Coast. The programme has been on channel 2 (ABC) at 6:30pm on a Friday. It's a hoot. |

Let me get this right......they move to a foreign country where they can't speak the language, the place is a dive which needs major renovations, there's no hospital, doctor, shopping center for miles, none of their friends or rels, and most of their furniture has gone missing.................just so they can get out of paying extra TAX!. I have watched a few episodes of the BBC production which is about an English couple who want to buy a chateau in Slovakia. I thought it was fiction but it seems that it follows this real life couple and the trials & tribulations they face in their quest to live in a chateau. WHY would anyone want go through all this just to move out of England? |
