Julie Ann That certainly is a mixture. Quite a few people have said to me that they wished they had Romani in their line. Believe me you wouldn't if you knew how hard it is to track the little darlings down. That was so clean compared to what I wanted to write. lol There does seem to be quite a romantatism about Romani people. I can only imagine how hard their lives were although I do have some wonderful stories that have been handed down through the generations. I love caravans too, in fact I'm off to stay in one this bank holiday. :-)))

PollyAnna Nope, haven't found a sausage. Tell a lie I've found my Dad's line but didn't need them as already had them back to 1841 and beyond. The problem with my Mum's line is that both paternal and maternal line were Romani so their birth age and place chop and change like the wind. I've managed to track a lot of them through to 1851 census so haven't done too badly. Never mind I'm sure something will turn up eventually.

I won't give up ! Just need a break. Allie, Got so excited, I ended up with brotheres and sisters married, ! and kids, now have to entangle them all, so many with the same names ! Husband doing me a great big wall chart so I can actually see them all at once, instead of in the computer........

Hi Polly Anna I got fed up with mine - it all seemed to grind to a halt so I left it for a bit, and straight away after going back I broke two huge brick walls. I think that sometimes you get too close to see the obvious (I know I do!) and a break from it can help. Hope you don't give up! Allie x ps surely with your name you should be looking on the bright side of this? LOL
