I agree with Claire here. She is already feeling dreadful and a trip in the car to a place full of people isn't going to help her. On the bright side , she will see the doctor. Good luck Dawnie, and you ask him for a STITCH for your little sore finger love! LOL Deanna X |

Personally I think it is disgusting how you get given the run around and it is such a job to get a Dr to come out to a sick child. So you had to wait to talk to a Dr and wait for him to decide he can't come, drag a sick toddler out in this weather and wait again for god knows how long. I had a similar scenario when my daughter had an asthma attack. No one wanted to advise or come out, she progressively got worse until I got someone to make a decision and see her, she was then sent to hospital in an ambulane. Next time I will just cut out the middle man and ring 999! Anyway, my two had a mesles like rash that kept coming ang going with a cough and temp. It did look suspiciuosly like measles but it wasn't likely as they have had their MMR. It just turned out to be a virus and they were fine in about 5 days. Hope tiddler's rash is something and nothing and you don't have to wait too long to get her seen. :o) Claire xx |

dawn, hope its not measles, but hope she feels better soon, let us know what happens later on. when you get to drop in centre tell them you think its measles they should get you in first, as its highly contagious. jean |

Good luck Dawnie. I hope she soon feels better. Take something to amuse her. I waited over 2 and a half hours at our drop in centre on Easter Monday. Gwyn |

As measles is suspected & contagious (sp?) i don't think they would keep you too long in a waiting room of people. At least i would hope not. Hope you both are feeling better soon. Give tiddler a hug from me. Take care Tracey -x- |

Hi Dawn hope tiddler is better soon. If the doctor doesn't arrive soon ring the NHS dierct help line they are great and they may even give your doctor a ring to hurry him up. If you are too worried I would go to A&E. Germaine x ps Hope your finger is soon better |

Aw, Dawnie. I suggested allergy because you said the rash came and went but it sounds like something different. Is it your GP you phoned or NHS direct? NHS direct may suggest taking her to the drop in place at GE Hospital. Gwynne |
