What an interesting afternoon!!!! lolol

now...ok so I'm a woman....and rumour has it that we are not the most technical species when it comes to cars!!! well well well......I'm not gonna be a particularly good advert now!!! pmsl Decided (stupidly) to try the car to go get the kids from school. Got up the hill fine and dandy, parked the car and went into the playground to get them. Then decided to go round the corner to visit my pal!! Gets into the car and ppfffft!!...nothing!! tried again.....ppffftttt!! NOWT!! oops lol Anyway after seeing my pal I thought (hopefully) that maybe somehow the car may have had a wee rest enough that it might just go enough to get me back down the hill !! emmmmm NOPE!! lol Decided we'd (me and the kids lol) would try and push it to a safer place!! hmmmm no......there was a speed bump thingie right ahead of us and we couldnt get it up and over it!! Brainwave!!!! Lets get kids to safe place and I'll try and reverse it back then turn it to either freewheel down the hill or at least to the next street into a safer place....oops Ahem...the steering wheel had locked....hmmmmm....managed just to get it turned so that I could turn the car round a wee bit....course by this point we are absolutely rolling around in hysterics!!! lololol But with no engine running the brakes felt kinda spongy and I didnt feel safe going down the Brae (very steep hill) so wheeled it round into the next street and parked it safely!! PHEW!!!! so today's lesson is............Jilly doesnt do cars!!!!! PMSL

No todays lesson is Jilly is very lazy lolol

Noooooooooooo Julie!! not at all.....have now walked all round the village just about cos I had to go to the wee shop....Fin was at her pals house so had to walk round and pick her up again....walked to and from friends house....up to the park with the other two when Fin was at her friends and then had to get whatever we needed out of the car and walked home!!! not forgetting 50 odd stairs when I reached here!! roll on kids bedtime so I can have a well deserved swally!! pmsl

Jean!! if you'd seen us!!! wot a flaming laff!!! everytime anyone passed or drove past us I'd call HALT!!! i'd have been mortified if someone had seen what I was trying to do !!!! lolol tho one of the mums did see me stranded in middle of the road but I just kidded on I hadnt seen her !!!! pmsl
