Me! I hate having white legs, and being pale-faced, all my life (I'm 49 now) I've been asked 'are you feeling alright, dear? You do look ill'. So yes, I'll carry on fake-tanning. x |

OK Debs, I'll definitely see what you have to say tomorrow. I don't care about fake tan - it's better than blinding everyone with my white pins! |

Louise I feel so much better with a bit of 'colour', and as I don't intend to burn, I use 'fake' stuff. Asda own make, brilliant! but like with all of them, just make sure you use plenty of moisturizing lotion before hand. Kim |

Hi Swiss Maid, I agree that the fake tans used to look fake but this one (from how good my friend looked) seems to be ok, my legs have gone from that pasty white to a very subtle golden color, but will let you know how it goes and as it was only $7.00 I cant complain. Debs x Who is happy to fake things if it looks good! |

I've often faked a tan on my legs cos they are whiter than white but have to be so careful the fake tan doesn't go orange .... Used L'Or*** cream and spray last year and it was quite good. Be very interested in hearing about the D*** cream. Saw ad for it recently. I'll look in tomorrow to hear your report Debs. |

Hi Joan, I only put it on this morning for the first time, but the reason I bought it was when I saw how brown my mate was yesterday I thought she had been off on holiday but it was this dove lotion.. I prefer it to the jergens they do out here which leaves it a bit streaky.. And sometimes I am all for the quick way!! Debs x |

I feel sorry for people who feel that getting the tanned look is a good thing. I had second degree burns from sunburn, when I fell asleep at a pool on a Swiss mountain on my day off, when I was a student. I don't think tanning is a good thing as you get accelerated ageing as you get older. I'don't mind catching the sun if I'm gardening but I wear high factor suncream. Fake tan never looks natural..
