It annoys me when people spell my sons name with 'on' instead of 'an' at the end of it, they also do the same with Hubbies and sometimes prounouce daughters name wrong as well. In laws even spell my sons name wrong - they insist on spelling it the Irish way, poor little sole always asks why do grandma and grendad always get my name wrong on my birthday card And their names are not unusual in anyway. I get it a lot - I'm Kay with an 'e', but I'm used to people getting it wrong and it doesn't bother me too much. I once had a Landlady though who always called me 'Kate' - no matter how many times I told her it was Kaye, I just gave up in the end. lol Kaye (with the 'e') x |

Hi Clare. Thats the way My 16 year old daughters' name is spelt..c.l.a.r.e. Funny how this way of spelling it is always the last option when people are hazzarding a guess at which way you spell it. My name is Trish/Trisha, but Tricia is often the way most people (who dont know me well) spell it........yes it is annoying. |

Isn't it annoying when people spell or pronounce your name wrong even when you tell them the correct way. Anyone else have a similar problem ? Clare (without the i) |
