There's nothing wrong with an afternoon nap (I'm just jealous as I have to work and can't have them) |

Imagine putting me down as an admirer of yours - many moons ago you turned me down even though I offered a good lancashire hotpot and you were only interested in my (then) 18yr old g.dau. Ann |

Ann? Admirer? Get away with ya! Only about 3 out of 9 esate agents even bothered to use the SAE I included in each letter to get back to me. Quite rude I thought. For the next 6 months I'll be writing local history books, setting myself up as a private researcher for Birkenhead Central Library and hopefully acting as a company director for a genealogy business my granddad will be funding in July. I have to do a business plan but he is interested in the idea. |

You know I wish you luck in whatever you do - last I heard of you were thinking of estate agent? Thought journalism etc would be more your forte. Ann |

As I lost enthusiasm for it ages ago and have been coasting along. I was supposed to be doing 2 A levels but could see that wasn't going to happen, so I opted to do just the one the other week. Now I see that my coursework for that is substandard and I dont have the time or motivation to force myself to do so much by the end of this week. I'm not too bothered. I dont want a job in ICT and I've already got a GNVQ (higher that the standard school GCSE) anyway. I'm concentrating on my English exam to add the full A Level to my AS Level. Even so, my jobs for the near future are self employed anyway, wish I knew that before I took up the course 2 years ago |

Shush Polly - wash your mouth out - he cannot be allowed to rest on his laurels - if he continues to work diligently who knows what he may achieve. I know college hours are crazy so I accept some of your reasons but young Daniel - if you have studied ICT for 2 yrs why not see it through? You may get another 'ology'. Ann |

I haven't been for the past 3 days. 2 due to mistakes, 1 as I've given up on ICT. No point persuing that subject. When I do go in college isn't all day anyway, so it would appear I am back early not doing anything. |

Aunt Polly - answer this one - why is not our Daniel at college and working hard (at least he does not appear to be at college much recently). Worried for the boy - these last exams are important. Ann |

What I want to know is - why in the past couple of weeks does it appear that you are at home rather than at college? Exams are coming up but as far as I am aware revision leave has not begun yet. Ann |

That's what I meant. People keep casting aside my medical condition so now they have me saying I am lazy, other than the true issue here. It's discrimination really. |

When I read that article Daniel - it was not that teenagers were lazy BUT that they required more sleep than everyone else. I know because I (naughty grandma) passed the info on to my two teenage g.children! Ann |
