A friend organised a private session for 10 of us at her home with a medium. Friend hadn't told her anything about who was attending....Not even names. Medium (she) went around the room giving a brief synopsis about our individual lives as it was at that moment in time and then went deeper...Either for past lives or what was happening in the present depending on the individual. She had my present spot on and then spoke about my past life....I was a fisherman who died at sea.....That figures, I love the sea and everything connected to it but I am a poor swimmer and panic big time when I get out of my depth! Scarily... She focused one one of the group and kept stressing the need for a doctors appointment, for someone 'close' ...Even I could read between the lines...She meant for her. Friend laughed it off as she didn't know anyone who was ill......6 weeks later she found a lump and was diagnosed with breast cancer. Chris

I would love to have a reading - I have received a message from my mum at a Spiritualist church a few years ago, but wish I could find the time to go there more often. I met Gordon Smith when he came to Norwich for a book signing and he was a lovely man, would have liked to sit and chat with him and hear what he had to say. Good on you, Fen Tiger for not charging loads of money to help people. Liz

I have been to two or three mediums. Always very accurate, but there are people out there making money out of peoples need for comfort. Go to mediums who are recommended, then you know that you are getting something good. Hi Julie........ XX Deanna X

Christine Go along to the local spiritualist Church, that is what they are there for - to help people, you will be made welcome, I went for nearly a year when I first realised I had to find out what was happening to me!! They usually hold two services on a Sunday - both with a period of clairvoyance, go along and see what happens, I always liken it to going in the door like a flat bottle of pop, but when I come out I have regained all my bubbles Lol Julie x

Julie I think it's brilliant that you don't charge, I believe there are some unscrupulous (sp!) people out there who charge a lot and give nothing. After the reading last week, we bumped into my niece and her daughter, Roxanne. I was telling them what the medium had said and when I mentioned my mu,, Roxanne said she had 'seen' my mum when she was little (she's 14 now). Apparently she has 'seen' a few people who have passed away and when she described them to her gran (my sister) they were all family members! This made me wonder whether the medium had meant Roxanne, rather than my granddaughter having the 'gift'. Lynne

Hi Lynne It is not always a joy to be a medium - sometimes I feel like a sponge that can't soak up anymore - if you see what I mean, it is a way of life, not something that I went out to search for, from the age of 4 I have been able to see and hear and speak to the spirit world, it is a way of life to me, I have never charged for a sitting, as I believe that God gave me this gift, so I must use it how he wishes me to use it, I have always kept quiet about being a medium but as I am leaving GR 1st June I thought it might be interesting to get some feedback. Patricia it is good that you enjoyed your reading. I find it fascinating what these mediums can do. It must be a wonderful gift to have and share with other people. I would really love to go and see a medium but don’t no who to see. All the ones that advertise in local free papers charge about £30/40 each how much do other people pay? Julia

Julie I am NOT surprised that she was accurate, just fascinated that people are able to do this. It was a wonderful feeling, knowing my mum and gran were watching over me! The medium also said she felt she wanted to put me in her place which she interpreted as me having the 'gift'. She said I probably will not use it but my granddaughter also has it and will use it later in life. This same lady had told my son in law last year that someone close to him was going to have a health problem connected to the right side of their body. In April this year, my daughter had an operation for a brain tumour (which she was probably already suffering from at the time). SIL never mentioned this to daughter until after she had the op. I really have a great respect for you and anyone else who is able to do this. Lynne

Speaking as a medium with over 20 years experience, why are you all so surprised when we are accurate??? I am curious - a true spiritualist medium is only here to prove that life is everlasting, the only way we can do that is to do what we always do - be a telephone between the spirit world and this world, and give you evidence from the 'other; side - something that is personal to you and only you, so you know that your loved ones are near to you always, there are many 'fakes' out there, a genuine medium usually does not charge for a god given gift, but will help people when the need is great. hi lynne one of first names she threw at me was my mums which is Ada not a common name ... got to pick grandaughter up but will add some more details later take care xxxx

Patricia I also saw one a week last Saturday. I had seen her early last year and she said a few things which rang true. At the end I asked if she ever got names of the people who 'come through' to her and she said the name Annie, which was my mum's real name (everyone knew her as Ann!). I just went cold!! This time I told her I was more interested in the past than the future as I was doing my family tree and she immediately said she wanted to take me to Aintree in Liverpool. My gggrandmother, according to 3 census returns, was supposedly born in Liverpool and I have not been able to find her birth record since I started 3 years ago. Her age varies so she was born 1837 - 1840. She also said many other things which fitted with my research. At the end of this reading she came out with my maternal grandmother's name - Alice!. I never knew Alice as she died 5 years before I was born. I found it all fascinating and a bit spooky but will definitely go again. Lynne
