Paul - Dunno! lol Something to do with measuring inflammation using the blood I think?? I'll be fine :0) Going to keep taking the painkillers and also sort out a couple of things that aren't helping the situation! xx

Doctor wants me to go for blood tests again. Apparently last time I had blood tests (2 years ago) my ESR was higher than it should be. He wouldn't diagnose anything specific but he did say the symptoms, my ESR count and my age/gender could indicate it's rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks for your support everyone xx

Bec Hopefully it is something 'simple' like Carpel Tunnel syndrome. I had that and didn't realise it for years....Well we girls have a high pain threshhold :) .....Only went to the Docs when I started getting pain up to my elbow. Turned out I had a trapped ulna nerve and carpel tunnel. One small op and it was sorted! Good luck Chris
