Jeanette - I don't know I've got plenty of Macs/Mcs in my tree, I've even got a Donald (as a first name) but no MacDonalds. sob |

I actually met Ron on Sunday at the Maidstone fair - should've asked him then! I think though, that they usually print the trees off quite late on, and also he will probably appear on here without any prompting - he usually does! Maz. XX |

I think Joanie is devasted that David's real surname is not Tennant after all. I think she's trying to dig up some MacDonalds in her tree. Poor Joan! |

I found this on his website: Who Does Who Think He Is?! 05/05/2006, 16:47pm BST The BBC have confirmed that David Tennant will be tracing his family tree and going back to his roots for a new series of the BBC show Who Do You Think You Are? David has already been back to Paisley to film segments for the show which will be shown on BBC One in the Autumn. |

In this week's Radio Times it quotes David Tennant (new Dr Who) as saying .... 'Yes, this is my family tartan. It's McDonald - that's my real name, with no 'a'. But as I'm finding out from making WDYTYA, it doesn't actually make much difference whether it's with the 'a' or without.' .... I can't believe I'm the only one who spotted this :-))) Please add any other clues as and when you find them!! Maz. XX |
