I can't understand why Big Brother is so popular. The housemates are just a bunch of attention seeking nobodies, they spend x number of weeks badly behaving and when they come out all of a sudden they are celebrities, offered so many thousands for book deals etc What sort of example does this give to young people? I have tried to watch it a few times. I had to switch off after 5 minutes as I got fed up with the inane drivel. The celebrity version was no better, just a bunch of washed up has beens desperate to reinvent themselves. Ok please don't all throw bread rolls at me at once. I'm just airing my personal opinion, I'm sure others out there feel the same

Rachel - I think you either love it or you hate it, with no half measures in between. I enjoy it but partner can't stand it - he loves westerns but they do nothing for me. No big deal, all part of life's rich tapestry. jay

only caught a bit of it, I think she was saying that Ayslene (sp?) was trying to be black - lots of white and asian young people from London speak like her - even my own kids do - they want to be like their black friends, who they think are cool. she also called her a moose. the words pot and kettle come to mind ..... !! she is soooooo out !!!! Question re the Friday night evictions - -- - - Why do they all put on there best clothes and makeup and earings? we she them at their worst, so why do they think Friday is the day to doll up for the cameras??? Joanne PS - Grace is just a silly child who has no idea!!
